E3 2014 - June 10/12 - Lets talk about it before it gets delayed to 2015

Why don’t they just license Rockstar’s engine? Oh man, if only…

Valve is Going to Present Something at E3 with Sony:

Announcing something at Sony’s conference kind of makes sense. Though I hope announcing something at a console event doesn’t mean they’re focusing all their attention on consoles with this. That wouldn’t make much sense with how they’re pushing the Steambox especially.

Probably more Sony / Steam connectivity. PS3 launched with linux support, maybe steamOS on PS4?

^ IMO, if they achieve support for the entire Steam library, including seamless installation of mods, dedicated servers, anti cheat support and chat, without leaving the sony store user interface in the dust and complaining of sales loss, that would be literally the best-case scenario to fix the industry and avoid the second coming of the video game crash…

New E3 trailer of Metal Gear Solid 5.

Microsoft’s conference was great. Pretty much all games, even if they’re not necessarily interesting to me. We finally get som Witcher 3 gameplay which looks great. Looks to have an actual dismemberment system. Monster hunting looks cool too.

EA’s stream is up right now: https://www.twitch.tv/twitch.

Showed Sims 4, and apparently Battlefront was on earlier.

Edit: also, twitch chat did not react well to the wrestling game.

New Call of Duty actually looks better than Battlefield:Hardline…entire EA conference was a fucking disaster.

I agree about CoD but I didn’t think the conference was a disaster.

Battlefield 4’s campaign looked ten times better than the multiplayer. Same for CoD: Ghosts afaik. Hardline showcased multiplayer, and Advanced Warfare showcased singleplayer.

Do people seriously complain about graphics now? Because the BF: Hardline montage was freaking epic (gameplay-wise) 10/10 from me.

That ain’t a trailer, that’s a masterpiece.

Link is down. Error 509.

EA’s conference was weeeeeeaaaak. Except for Battlefield and the sports games, they didn’t actually show anything. I’m gonna make a bet and say that Mirror’s Edge is either coming out five years from now, or not coming out at all.

Really excited about The Division (please no Watch Dogs syndrome, please, please). Far Cry’s trailer was dope. Too bad both of them will be shitty ports, with them being Ubi’s IPs and all.

Grim Fandango update apparently only for PS4. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was PC too because it would be a really stupid thing to not have it on PC for various reasons, but it obviously wasn’t said at the conference.

Something something Nintendo Metroid Sonic Boom skepticism something something Isaac Rebirth something something

GTAV PS4 confirmed. So I’m guessing Xbone too. Hopefully PC as well.
