I’m concerned about the direction that they are taking Dante in.
I really hope they aren’t going to turn him into some pathetic emo/goth kid.
In my opinion the most memorable and awesome characters from anime-ish video games are the ones who man up and don’t have emotional issues.

Glares at Japan Seriously, no one wants to tolerate playing games or watching anime with whiny teenagers with abandonment issues.

A good look at the fans reaction to characters such as Vergil should be enough to teach the video game industry that we don’t want to play sissy characters.

Ok I admit that I’m reading too much into what little they have told us about the new DMC, the first trailer didn’t look too bad. I just hope they don’t destroy the series.

The first DmC was done by a team that had previously worked on RE games. They were going to make another one but they changed it so much that they renamed it and made it it’s own game. (Granted I haven’t played much only seen) You can tell from all the key getting and then back tracking and getting new areas from it.

Drasar just states it like an idiot because he is one. I’ve started not paying attention to anything he posts really.

I dont like Dmc1 too much, its too hard,only a few moves,no style switching etc.
But good enemies,music,story too and fights with Mundus are epic

But overall is Dmc3 better and Dmc4 graphics,style and combat smoothness are unmatched.

So for me its dmc3,dmc4,dmc2,dmc1 :stuck_out_tongue:

DMC 4 was a gay final fantasy ripoff + Dante was stripped of hell of a lot of moves.
Nero is a faggot failure too.

As far as those stupid rankings go, mine is:
DMC/DMC2 - epic gothic tale + epic designs/backgrounds pushing ps2 to it’s limit.
DMC3 - combat + Vergil/Dante

But seriously, intro, the whole new cast, surroundings, blade hybrids - everything reeked of the desperate attempt to cater to FF fangirls.
