So the reviews are out and so far the consensus is that it is a fantastic game.

I’m so fucking stoked about this game but why do Europeans have to wait 3 extra days to play it? That’s so unfair!

I’ll definitely be picking this one up. First game I’ve actually wanted to get in a long time. (Aside from BF3 and Skyrim of course)

Since Eidos didn’t fuck this up (and i was expecting them to), this gives me hope that Thief 4 could maybe live up to the first 2. (Of course that still depends on their selection of dev team, but maybe they put the same effort into making a good team like with DX:HR)

I’m glad to hear that this game is living up to the hype; I was afraid the only good thing I’d get out of pre-ordering was TF2 promos.

Definitely not. I watched all the trailers before hand, and preview build was still amazing with basically all of the plot left to discover.

still skeptical, “reviews” were great for Starcraft 2 and Portal 2 too…

Even if the reviews tanked it still is/will be a cult classic. But if it did get bad reviews I’m pretty sure it would be from the halo/cod crowd. They cant seem to handle complexity and choice in games.

After all this time right up until just now I thought Bob Page was voiced by James Woods. Who the heck is this Cliff Stephens and WHY does his voice sound exactly like James Woods!?

I think I’m going to get this. I played the demo, and I enjoyed it, even though combat felt akward at times, due to how long it took to fire accurately when you began.

I thought the reaction would be a lot more mixed. Hopefully the reviews translate into sales so we can get another DE game from this team. They’re good.

I really wish I could, but I’m limited to the demo as I rely on my parent’s income, and they’re too paranoid to use credit cards. And I’m pretty sure the game isn’t in retail…

I generally don’t condone piracy, but if you can’t get the original Deus Ex any other way then just fucking do it. I love that game so much.

So is there an actual demo of the game or is it the leaked beta? Game looks great but I’ll probably wait till I finish the first one to get it.
