Hello, everyone. Like many, I’ve making the switch to Chrome., and there is one thing that I really don’t like. The frame around it (the part with close button, minimize, ect.) doesn’t really fit in with my computer, as I’m using a custom windows theme. Is there any way I can use the regular windows frame in Google Chrome?
not that i know of,and i use chrome for more than 1 year, can you send a screenshot of this fashion mismatch?
By the way, you spelled “Google” wrong in the thread title. Way to be a jerk. Kudos me.
The Google Chrome interface is how the UI is. I don’t know to what extent Chrome is skinnable, though.
xp or Vista/7 ? Because in 7 my custom theme works fine. If your on XP you will either have to pick a chrome skin that matches or make your own.
no. burn in hell you fithy customizer.
you better stay away from the post your desktop thread.
there are chrome skins you can use. is it the skin you are wanting to change? I guess I am not understanding what exactly it is you want to change.
As you can see, the frame around the outside doesn’t match. I’m using a theme to make it be more like it, but I like Google Chrome’s colors, and I just want to change the frame. I guess I have OCD for having stuff on my computer match or something like that.
The chrome skin is grey on grey… and your background is black on grey with green. What color did you want chrome to be?
Perhaps I need to stop chiming in here, cuz I dont see anything obviously glaringly ugly. Other than the firefox window.
now i get it,and the answer is NO,you cant make the minimize, maximize, and close buttons like firefox without heavy coding
/thread
yah, not in XP sry bud
Darn. I guess I’ll keep on using Firefox.
Sometimes my Chrome window messes up and the default min/max/close buttons are drawn in the corner of the window, over the Chrome ones… then all gets redrawn back when I move the window around.
