Dear Esther Graphics update

I didn’t think it was set in Spain. I thought the original was set in Scotland on a remote island somewhere, probably the Hebrides.

wrong. it’s set in spain.

woah 2 polygons waving around holy shit this has never been done in source history

come on nobody gives a shit about the wind effects, they are good for some atmosphere but thats it. nothing really great looking by themselves.
that video is a disappointment compared to some of the water effects and other videos that have been posted

I give a shit about how the wind affects the grass, when you take lots of psychedelic drugs it matters alot

They cant live in the virtual world because of powercut.

Patonki, what the fuck is wrong with you? Moving vegitation/grass is the best part of any game, it makes the game 10 times better. In pokemon I was looking at wavey flowers for hours.

Incase you hadn’t noticed, this mod relies pretty heavily on atmosphere…

As flawed as the game itself was, the Onderon Battle sequence was actually completely finished, just redacted for the Xbox version. I could find the dev who explained it, but the forum that it was originally reposted in has disappeared.

Yeah, when you’re not killing huge amounts of goons, you tend to notice things like the grass more.

Kind of how games that suck rely heavily on graphics.

Well not really, because they still suck. This mod is actually made better by the realistic atmosphere, because its more immersive. Bad games with good graphics will always be bad.

I wanna see someone take this mod and turn into a L4D2 campaign. The zombies would look awful in the beautiful environment, but it’d be a hell of a lot more fun.

You seem to be an argumentative twat with an extremely irritating signature. :meh:

You go girl!

Damn right.

Welcome, my son. Welcooooome to the interneeeeeet.

Does that guy have a fetish for stalagmites and stalactites?

It’s like he has a spray can for them.

I’ve been on the internet longer than I like to admit and a tiny portion of what most people spend on it.

game over man, game over

it’s not the amount of time, it’s the amount of websites you’ve been to, for instance I’ve been permabanned from at least 10 forums.

Sersoft always has something to tell that suprises us.
Or he is just like the janitor in Scrubs who always tells lies.

my memory does suck but I used to troll forums until I get permabanned every other night
