Cyborg R.A.T. 9

Ive noticed the term “moving parts” in a couple of posts and need to point out that it should be adjustable parts…huge difference. The parts you speak of only move during customization. Its not like they will break from wear and tear, unless of course you have some uncontrollable growth for a hand. It appears to be a rather efficient and simple design thanks to its steel chassis. There are not a lot of parts that will break.

The electronics would be the only concern. Most of my old mice, logitech and microsoft, broke in some fashion after some period of time, usually the left click or tracking sensor. Of course, all brands are susceptible to the occasional clunker but theres no reason to suspect this mouse would be of more concern.

In the end I have no first hand experience to verify any of this, but it handles pretty well in that youtube video. Im still looking for a decent review.

EDIT: whoa major ghostpage…this was in response to a post which as subsequently disappeared…wtf

Wow sorry if my post caused irreversible emotional distress in you.

What are you talking about?

I didn’t know mice were supposed to look like fighter jets.

You have quite the imagination…

They are when you’re FUCKING HARDCORE GAMING PWNIN T3H N00BZ!!

I also didn’t know arms were supposed to look like fighter jets until I played Deus Ex and encountered MJ12 commandos.

Dude, you asked them if they would recommend a mouse that has at least 5 buttons and they say they don’t like buttons isn’t useless. It just tells you that they can’t recommend a type of mouse you’d want. And personally, I agree with them, I have a simple wireless mouse with 3 buttons if you count the mouse wheel. I’m sorry that I can’t recommend a mouse you’d like. Maybe you should search for reviews of mouse models?

myself i use a razer copperhead and I love it, but it’s a totally different design and motion used rather than moving your’e hand you use your’e fingers, and u cant speed-click and cheat in games like COD(fire like 10 shots with and pistol in 1 sec or so), but i really like it.

As for the RAT9 i have no idea, i don’t like that design so sorry that I cant help you.

EDIT: just watched the review you linked too, and if the only difference is wireless vs chord I would say it looks like an solid mouse.
and if all you want is buttons you need a NAGA. https://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/gizmodo/2009/08/scaled.Rzr_Naga_SideView02.jpg

You fail.

In very first post I asked if anyone can personally recommend a RAT, not to mention I said I prefer mice with many buttons. I didn’t ask for the fucking peanut gallery to chime in with usless posts about how mice with a lot of buttons are too difficult to use and its going to break immediately. Thanks, let me go ask my magic 8-ball what I should buy, its just as useful.

Unfortunately I cant find any professional reviews. This thread could have easily been ignored and lost forever. I swear, they had better release BM soon cuz these forums are going down the shitter.

I checked out that razr and unfortunately its similar to most other mice and is too small. I do not claw my mouse.

Wow lol, thats overkill. I assumed something that like existed but never investigated. Only a few extra buttons are necessary, its the RATs adjustable ergonomics that i am interested in. Like I said, I have large hands and my MX1000 is too small.

I saw that mouse earlier, but didn’t recommend it after asking a few simple questions. That mouse is most suited to MMOs, which he doesn’t play. I personally have a Trust MI-2500X, and I wouldn’t recommend it if it were the last 5 button mouse on earth. It’s a good size, but wired and very light. Hence getting pulled by the cord. Resolution is low too.

I may be replacing it soon, so if I do I shall keep you posted on mice I look at and consider; but my price range will be somewhat lower.

Thanks for the help. I think ive come to the conclusion that I like the design of the mouse enough to buy a RAT9 when it’s released. Like Ive said, I do not claw my mouse and have large hands. I need a mouse with good finger grip and a large footprint…perhaps I should say handprint. I just hope my MX holds out longer.

All you small handed trolls with poor finger dexterity can suck my taint. :hmph:

ive got bigger hands than u and use somme regular size/ small mouse fine i dunno if it matter s that much

Good for you, your post doesn’t matter. It sounds like you are comfortable clawing you mouse, I am not.

So yea, size does fucking matter.

I kinda agree, calm down a bit. its a forum, people post things. if you don’t like it move on.
anyways, you say you have big hands? then might I suggest the CM Storm Sentinel Advance https://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?product_id=2951. no, its not the RAT and I cant make any kind of educated comment on the RAT, but listen. its got a decent amount of buttons- all programmable, its a fairly large mouse and as a bonus you can make it your favorite colour & it only goes for around $60-$70. however it is wired, which could be a good thing or a bad thing depending who you are (I like it wired).

Thanks fungus, i appreciate the input. That is actually a good suggestion, the only thing i dont like are the lights.

However, it does not have the appeal of the RAT. Ive decided Im going to order one and see how it is, im actually very curious to see if such a unique design pays off.

If anyone watched that youtube video i posted, they would see why I am so interested.

How many rats can you fit in your pooper at once?

My personal record is 57.

EDIT: 58.

If you’re REALLY want a RAT, though, I suggest you get them in bulk so it’s cheaper.

Nasty…

classy rat king
