So what’s the deal with preloading this thing, no dice?
If you preload it, you can automatically play it once it comes out instead of having to wait to download it
Right. But it doesn’t appear that there’s a preload, I was wondering if someone had heard differently…
Did you preorder it? Normally if you do that it will preload it. If it’s not then I don’t know.
Giving a bad review to a EA game blockbuster would mean killing your business … you would never have your hand on their game again. Ever.
Remember Matrix : Path of Neo ? PC GAMER gave it 18/20 for the lulz, it was one of the worst game I had ever played
My Gamestar gave it 50%. (1-60% is equal to a warning to avoid the game.)
Pre-ordered it over Steam, can’t wait.
Seems to be getting decent reviews, but still not a must buy for me, i’m happy to wait til christmas and get it on sale.
It looks great, even in DX9
It’s funny how people are bitching about C2 not being DX11 and the more demanding game ever. It looks good, that’s what matters.
Maybe some of them wanted to say “I can play Crysis 2 and you can’t, in your face, bitch”.
So does anyone have a verdict on this one? Is it worth 60 bucks or should I wait for a sale. Talking single player wise here. As good a Cry 1?
I haven’t beaten it yet, but so far so good. I wish they’d expanded on some things from the first game rather than retracted from them, like destructables and general environmental interaction, but the game is improved in so many other ways that it’s still very much worth playing.
The AI seems very solid and the gameplay in general is very refined. The changes to the nanosuit are mostly for the better (it has a lot of the same options, but the implementation is smoother) and the level design does a good job balancing linearity with tactical options.
Thus far it’s the best FPS campaign I’ve played in a long time.
I beat it like 3 weeks ago, but I don’t know if it’s worth 60, maybe if it was more difficult, I almost never died on medium, and I played at my friend’s house on hard and it was pretty much the same.
Except when you’re stuck in a lab and you have to kill a helicopter through the window, it took me a while to notice that the windows are bulletproof and you have to shoot through the cracks.
could have been a good game
if some dumb idiot didn’t program it for playing on a sofa
Totally broseph. RPS made a great write describing why everything about the game blows thanks to console tards, you should check it out.

that article is satire
i also needed 1.21 jiggawatts to run it wtfff
Yeah I know, I just thought it was pretty hilarious and worth a read. I actually loved Crysis 2 and was only mildly annoyed by the textures and graphics settings.
Good to know Crysis 2 is now an average console game. I’m disappointed after what they promise us in the first place ie a better game than Crysis.
The game is better. The graphichis aren’t maybe. But I can play it with better graphics and more fps than crysis 1.
From what I’ve seen, aside graphics the AI is still dumb and there’s not much to destroy. And some places with infinite enemy spawn à la COD isn’t better either.
