No, we are not inSoviet Russia…
half-life is the only game that i can think of in the last 20 years of my life, that uses a crowbar for the main meelee* spellcheck midget needed; unless your a retard and download it as a swep offline, anyways back to work for me, and hopefully the black mesa dev team too, im getting old here!
Meh, i just hate arguments, I honestly love the crowbar. Hell I’m gonna need one for my halloween costume (as Gordon Freeman ). but I’m fine whatever the crowbar is replaced with. I understand that the crowbar is an awesome weapon, i just question why Valve chose a crowbar.
because crowbar=awsome
I think they just wanted a unique signature item for the main character.
When you hear “crowbar” you think “Half-Life”.
^^ That happened in drama, one of the lines said it was like getting hit in the head with a crowbar once a day… I laughed.
wtf is this supposed to mean?
it means everything it was supposed to mean
…
duh!
Barney obtained the Crowbar in HL2 from Black Mesa, and gave it to you.
Every hero has a signature weapon, and a Crowbar is Gordon’s.
In HL, no.
In TF2 HELL YES.
It’s just the weapon he found. If you don’t like crowbars, play Opossing Force. Instead hey have a knife and a pipe wrench.
Or play Blue Shift, where he had a different crowbar!
You find the crowbar next to a tool box, doesn’t seem like in the middle of no-where to me.
I think it was a storyline decision, Gordon sees a crowbar next to a tool box and uses it to break through a window and holds it as his only means of protection against what he thinks is ahead.
And that, men, is why.
Strider Mt had an ice-axe instead of the crowbar - fitting for a mod set in the mountains, but still sort of a “lolwut” disappointment for Gordon to trade in his ol’ trusty crowbar.
Old pic is Old.
I see…
