poison zombie…it’s the noises it makes combined with the fact that posion headcrabs will get your health down to 1HP…they are scary as fuck…fast zombies don’t scare me that much though

HL2 some abandoned house near a beach and outside there are combine. In the house second floor there are some goodies to collect, you have to jump an overturned table and then fall through the floor and get attacked by either zombies or headcrabs. Can’t remember which one.

Ravenholm, standing on a roof, out of ammo and using the grav gun and saw blade combo. That level restored my love of a good linear first person shooter!

The fast zombies that attack you when you are waiting for the elevator at Ravenholm. Of course you can just shoot them if you have guns, but when you are trying to get the achievement for only using the gravity gun, it becomes a game of run around the room trying not to die before the elevator gets there.

Episode 1 - Waiting for the elevator in the destroyed underground car park. No lights, zombies everywhere XD
Was playing on hard and ran out of weapon ammunition, was a tad freaked out at that stage!

To me the big fucking fellas in OF spitting on you is pretty scary.

Otherwise, by far, the fast jumping ones. Screaming like hell, and climbing the drain pipes.

You know the developers did something right with designing enemies when you make sure they are dead.

I’ve done that many a time.

Your in the middle of a zombie fight and you are shooting bullets everywhere, and by the last one that “ARGGGHHH!” feeling has turned into “ARGHHHH!! DIE DIE DIE PLEASE STOP MAKING ME FEEL LIKE THIS ARGH!”

Gonomes weren’t really creepy or disturbing, just regular zombies full of creatine and testosterone.
