Honestly, Im not saying the cinematic mod is perfect and there are things I would change. That however doesn’t change the fact that HL2 isn’t perfect either and I feel the cinematic mod at least addresses those issues. Again, you may not like HOW the changes were implemented, but I feel the changes are at least decent and certainly improved my HL2 experience.

I now actually have a desire to play the HL2 series more than once…

I agree with both of you. It is one of the best games ever made. However, it is not perfect. There, I hope that leads to a truce between you two.

I don’t have SMOD, but I saw a Let’s Play on Youtube and it looks pretty cool.

I never said HL2 wasn’t one of the best games ever made. I loved HL2, I just had higher expectations for certain aspects of gameplay which, as I mentioned, the cinematic mod addresses. All I said was it isn’t perfect and could use improvement, I think you need to calm down a little.

oh sure, cinimatic mod may have changed the gameplay for better or worse, but you also have to look at OVER 9000 ASIANS SLUTWHORES with plastic boobs and badly implemented texture replacements.

It isn’t released yet but “The Rising” looks unbelievable. Check it out on ModDB. It’s scheduled for release some time this year.

Solitude looks pretty awesome. Anyone that likes Halo and isn’t afraid of custom firmware for the PSP (then again, they’re also making a PC version, so…), you should keep an eye on it.

First off, that’s not an argument. Secondly, it wasn’t my fucking suggestion.

Like i said, not only did they include the original Alyx model with the mod, just to please people who might bitch, they also added about a dozen other choices. I really think that is the purpose of the mod…to add choices/changes. Due to that aspect it excels as a mod. Are you just stupid or lack reading comprehension?

I have an idea, if you are not going to say anything important (see your two previous posts), why don’t you at least get on topic and talk about your favorite mod. Let’s hear it…
