ok so i wuz just wondering how many people have “modified” Game consoles? Like do you have a mod chip? or a softmod? (softmod=software hack, for noobs 
) like i have a softmodded wii, and a flashed Xbox 360

I used the software mod for my Wii. It’s really incredibly easy to do anymore. Just need an SD card for it. Quake plays hella awesome on it. Syobon Action is great too.
I generally don’t go for the hardware modded stuff though.
Yea, my wii is soft modded too, I also don’t hardware mod though.
Quite a few people here do have and like modded consoles.
My Wii isn’t modded in any way… but looking at the homebrew channel makes me sadface that I haven’t softmodded it. 
I modded my 360 so I can keep backups of my games. It’s already come in handy twice since I’ve had the console damage not one but two of my original discs. Nothing wrong with modifying your console for legitimate purposes (if you don’t care about your warranty).

I have a modded 360. After going through 4 previous 360s I decided to get a gaming pc and mod my new 360. Fuck console gaming.
I enjoy console gaming, my 360 hasn’t fucked up once in all the years I’ve had it, it’s the console gamers that are bothersome.
I was thinking about doing some shit to my Wii so that it can play Quake, but I know I’d end up bricking it because I fail at electronics.
From what I’ve read, Ramirezoid, Homebrew Channel for the Wii Is Software, not hardware…
So installation of any electronic components beyond insertion of an SD card into the slot in the system is unnecessary
