Cern vs. Fermilab

Since there is a thread called BM vs. ApertureScience. Go ahead. Where would you rather work? inb4shitloadzofcern
in Cern you have the best equipment.
in Fermilab… well they were here first :fffuuu:

if you don’t know what these are here is a clue:
hadron collider

I don’t even know what Fermilab is.

^thgis, plus wuts cern?

deoz dis help?

hint They built a machine that hippies believe is going to create black holes that will destroy our solar system hint

Also, what’s next, NASA vs ESA?

why not :bulb: :stuck_out_tongue:

fermilab because their name is more fun to say

fermilab… heh . heheh  puhahahahhsdhsahahahahahah

So this Fermilab business. Do they have a kickass particle accelerator too?

well actually they have one*(look here) but since Cern’s dick is bigger it’s going to stop working in 2011.

This is Fermilab:

This is Cern:

This thread has science and shit. oh btw i think the name Tevatron is cooler than the name " Large Hadron Collider"

still fermilab, because my god that is a sexy building

lol, yeah. I would love to work at that building, too. and they have a giant bubble machine :retard:

Fermilab or the large hardon collider.

thank you for repeating what this thread is about

Burb: Read mrfohiln’s post a little more closely. It’s a funny. [COLOR=‘Black’](Not really)

I do know that fermilab do an experiment about particles.

Once my school bought an engine about counting muon traveling through the atmosphere.

Common Hazards in the workplace include but are not limited to: exaustion, bruises and touching of the balls.

Black Mesa and Aperture Science are companies focused upon commercial aspects. Fermilab and the LHC aren’t commercial companies. I think there’s no need for a versus discussion. After all a “X is better than Y” attitude is not useful in science.

CERN FTW

And Black Mesa approuved BTW

Sorry, even though I’ve just learned about Fermilabs today, have done no research, and have no idea whatsoever about anything to do with them… They have five big pluses over CERN.

  1. Cooler name.
  2. Bubble-machine-looking-thing-on-a-roof.
  3. Style. I mean, look at that sexy building!
  4. SEXY BUILDING!
  5. SEXY FRIGGEN’ BUILDING!!!
  6. I WANT THAT BUILDING!

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
