Well, CERN is actually an acronym for a long, impossible-to-pronounce foreign phrase, where as Fermilab is I think just a simple name.
It’s important to consider these things when deciding on a research corporation.
“Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire”. Essentially, “European Council for Nuclear Research”, but French has a sort of reverse grammar from English.
Fermilab’s name originates from the name Enrico Fermi.
Fermi was a particle physicist. CERN is for nuclear physicists.
I like Half Life so Fermilab wins.

fermilab probably uses nvidia’s new chip to do their calculations so CERN wins hands down
