F.E.A.R. has some of the best enemy soldier AI ever in any game, and it would be great if the enemy soldiers were even close to that in BMS. But this is an AI programming thing, and I’m not sure if anything like that can be done if Valve hasn’t built that kind of AI thinking ability into the Half-Life II engine.
Hopefully enemy commanders, like this guy https://wiki.blackmesasource.com/images/7/70/Sunglasses.jpg, will be extra tough (better body armor than a regular soldier), maybe do more damage with their MP5’s than average soldiers (armor piercing ammo), and have several hand grenades on them that they are quite willing to use on you.
