Call of Duty Ghosts

well they gave Rise of the Triad 2013 a 2.3

IGN is also a well known disciple in the Geoff Dew Keighley Doritodox Churches

^That was amazing.

better™ with™ kinect™

even the reboot of Shadow Warrior is getting in on the fishy action

Did you hear about it?

SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!
Portal reference intended - gotta have something worthy in this thread

That new trailer did absolutely nothing for me. The space bit was the only mildly interesting thing about it, aside from the post-apocalyptic setting following “The Last of Us” and “Enslaved: Odyssey to the West” like directions. Well, at least next gen we can look forward to greener post-apoc settings…

That space battle is an exact fucking copy of the one in Moonraker.

Moonraker’s battle has already been done in game form, sorta…

loved nightfire, but it puzzles me to this day why the pc version was so butchered in terms of single player

Gearbox made the PC version of Nightfire on GoldSrc.

Shit, that studio really CAN’T do anything that isn’t Borderlands. And I fucking hated Borderlands…

The Half-Life expansions, Halo PC port and Brothers in Arms games weren’t bad…

I hope you all ready for this.
Call of Duty: Ghosts - System Requirements

50GB, goddamn. More games are going to use that much now because all the consoles use bluray. Whether or not that disc space will be put to good use I don’t know. Most requirements are full of shit these days anyway. I can guarantee that you’ll be able to max this game with much lower if they bothered to optimize the game at all.

Yeah but GTX 780?! I can’t even afford that cost less or more $900 in oz for this GPU!

It’s probably a scare tactic to make people get a console.

Well, my computer meets those requirements, should I ever have a desire to rip off my own scrotum and rub my face stubble with it. Because that’s essentially what I’d be doing if I bought another COD game full price ever again.

the only reason cod has such high disk space is because they left so much leftover content from cod4,mw2,mw3, and what have you, inside the game files and didnt bother to clean it all out for the next game, resulting in ridiculously high disk space

need proof?
open the .iwd files (using winrar) for mw3, mw2 etc. you will find a GOLD MINE of left over content from past titles

even games like Arma 3, bf3, bf4 require less disk space than the likes of cod

and seeing the gtx 780 as recommended GPU made me laugh, a heavily modifed id tech 3 engine is poorly optimized for pc
it sounds more intentional than circumstantial

i dont see why companies cant just properly optimize for all hardware, do they have secret contracts with specific brands?

seems to be the case with battlfield series post-frostbite, and now it seems to be true for next-gen CoD as well (BO2 ran on DX11 and it pretty much ran flawlessly at 120+ fps on max settings with a gtx 660 and amd fx4100)

i guess fish-avoiding-dog-simulation really tips the balance of lean

More like Nvidia (listed as the source of the requirements in that article) trying to get people to buy high-end cards for all the Nvidia-exclusive PC graphics features

I think I might need to get another HDD or two if games are going to balloon out to 50GB+, good thing they’re relatively cheap at the moment.

How long did it take for ~7800GT level cards to become minimum spec after the release of the PS3 / Xbox 360?

Call of Duty: Ghosts PC specs from Nvidia not official

valve found it to be a windows thing and thats why they are moving to Linux

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
