I’m going to hop off the “lol cod sukz” bandwagon and say it was fun.
The campaign had a surprisingly nice story, and the multiplayer wasn’t too bad, aside from the damage seeming to be a bit higher than previous games.
Not for me. BO MP crashes every 15 minutes which really sucks. And don’t say my pc sucks because I played every other games perfectly.
Black Ops: most mediocre fucking game ever made.
So, how about that Call of Duty? For a game series supposed to be hardcore and realistic, it sure has regenerating health.

And it runs well now, wohoo! I already lost hope in Treyarch releasing another patch.
Black Ops is not worth the $60 price tag. I got bored with the campaign, but multiplayer is still very fun. I look at the game as more of an “expansion” or something like that.
Having said that, I don’t regret buying it.
Call of Duty was never realistic. Very immersive and cinematic, yes, but not realistic.
I’ll be totally honest: I enjoyed COD4 and MW2 single player campaigns. I tried to enjoy the Black Ops campaign, I really did, but by the time I got to the vietnam mission where their fort was being raided or whatever I just couldn’t get myself to complete it. I was so bored…
Just uninstalled Black Ops. I was starting to agree withe everyone who was saying CoD is inherently mediocre, then I went and tried MW2 again. It’s fun! I haven’t run into a hacker either, prehaps everyone that was hacking was doing it just cause they were gonna buy Black Ops and didn’t care what happened in MW2, so now they’re all gone! I will never ever play Black Ops again. Just bought BFBC2 on sale

I liked MW1 and MW2’s campaigns (probably going to catch shit from it, but oh well), but when I rented Black Ops the campaign bored me. It just doesn’t let up the action at all except the loading screens. At least in MW1 you can sneak around as an SAS so it lets up on the action a little, instead of just constantly throwing action in your face like the game was on speed or something. I did like the multiplayer more than the single player and thinking if I should buy it or not.

Agreed. Not sure if its the constant action that annoyed me or not, but I just didn’t find the game enjoyable at all, even compared to MW or MW2.
The first time I played the single player, I wasn’t a fan. but then I went back and selected kowloon city level, I think it’s called “numbers” or something like that. This time i pretended i was at the arcade, and i was playing a game like Time Crisis, and let me tell you, it was the most fun I’ve had in a call of duty game since COD1. I wish the single player was less of a story and more like the spec ops mode from MW2.
What do people think about the part in where your torturing a guy by putting glass in his mouth and seconds later he’s your best friend?
That was kinda retarded. Why was he so close lipped at first and then all of a sudden he’s your best buddy?
Just bought this game. I intend to play the crap out of it.
