I’m fairly sure the unplayable multiplayer is a universal concern. As such, they’re going to fix it. Returning it when the bugs are well known seems pedantic at the least. Further, the hackers will be fixed, if, as you claim, the hacker beating system isn’t “shitty” like MW2.
Well firstly, its not “full of hackers”, is it? You’ve seen one. Allegedly. Further, you don’t know whether he is still hacking or, even, whether he will continue to be able to hack in the future, or whether the hacking takes place over every server.
The game being boring is more of a reason to return it, but you really should have realised that before you bought it. Its CoD. CoD is CoD is CoD. Its like buying a new Halo game and then being surprised by the fact that its exactly the same as the one before. You’ve complained that MW2 was shitty and so you went and bought the new one without even checking that it was the same which it was inevitably going to be?
And my analogy was fine. You’ve encountered a small roadblock that will disappear in the future, and you’re frustrated at it, so you’re going to give up. Being bored of a game is one thing, but exclaiming that you’re returning it because its useless, full of hackers and unplayable is quite another.
Really got in to Black Ops last night, moved up a bunch of levels and unlocked a load of stuff.
Tryarch really know how to keep you interested in playing.

Unsurprisingly it turns out I can’t return Black Ops. When the mod tools come out I guess they’ll make the game worth the money. And seeing as there will be no other game worth playing until February Black Ops will be the only game to play.
Oh and calamari>all other seafood. Cod and other fish just taste nasty. And crab/lobster is nothing special.

And your right, I expected CoD Black Ops to be fun like MW2, without the bad crap. Its still just decent… i ony used it on 360, and local multiplayer was pretty good.
Doesn’t surprise me that MW2 was better, since it was developed by IW.
In Mexico they make this amazing garlic calamri tentacles, but they add too much garlic. If they just toned down the garlic it’d be the world’s best dish. ): I’m going down to Mexico sometime in the next couple months so I’ll order and ask for less garlic. 
I’m confused. You’re saying that, on the one hand, they’re fixing all the issues from MW2 and, according to you, they are using a better anti-cheat system. Now you’re saying that that neither of those things are true and that its obvious that they don’t care about PC gamers?
I’m confident that they’ll fix the game-killing bugs since leaving those unsolved, you know, tends to kill the game and, therefore, sales. If they leave the game unplayable then its a fair bet that nobody will buy it and nobody in the future will buy any more of their games. Once bitten twice shy, or something like that.
Where, exactly, did you get the idea that Black Ops was fixing all the problems found in MW2, when the biggest problem with MW2 was that it was MW2? Even if they got dedicated servers, got rid of all the hackers and made multiplayer more balanced, the biggest complaint would still be that MW2 was, ultimately, just MW2. And, surprisingly, you can’t fix that problem. Everyone could see from a mile away that Black Ops was always going to be very close to MW2 and, lo and behold, it is. So its not at all reasonable to expect Black Ops to be substantially different to MW2; in fact, it would be distinctly unreasonable to believe that two games in the same series would be substantially different.
Here’s a thought: Before going to buy games in the same franchise as other ones you’re suspicious of, wait a few days after release for everyone to play it? That way you can actually fully appraise the game before you play it and make sure that its what you want. That way you don’t have to worry about getting your money back, since, well, you never spent it in the first place.
…No? You don’t know that they “don’t plan to do anything” about hackers. Do you work for the company? From the sound of it, they do take hackers seriously (though that post is old). But encountering one hacker in one server on one day is hardly cause to drop the game entirely. Exploits will always take a while to patch, so give it a chance? I’m not your mother, so I really don’t care how you spend your money, but I think throwing your arms in the air and giving up is childish at the least and wasteful at the most.
Or you could just do what I’m doing and start playing ridiculously old games until your bank balance increases enough for you to afford something worth buying. I had more fun with Zombies Ate My Neighbours than I ever had with MW2.
One thing to consider is that Black Ops is a Treyarch game. CoD’s best games are from the original developer, Infinity Ward.
As a PC gamer i like Black Ops better than MW2 online.
Although the characters in the singleplayer of MW/MW2 are great.
The COD: Black Ops midnight release in my town was an orgasmic teenager fest of shit. I didn’t go because of the game…I went because my dad was going there because my uncle was going to get it. My uncle is cool basically. All they did was bring out their one ps3 with like a 15 inch screen in the cold with like 30 kids around it.
