True, but keep in mind that if you’re going for TRUE “Death” you’re actually little more than a glorified courier service. You don’t kill anyone, the scythe is only there to cut free those who are dead, but still clinging to life when they aren’t supposed to be.
The versions of “Death” that are believed to actually be responsible for killing people are generally much weaker and more easily fought off. A Lich by definition thumbs his/its nose at Death, these weaker ones in particular.

Yeah, it pretty much IS a boring job, sorry to say. Though theoretically, you might be able to warp and twist the job similar to what Davy Jones did in Pirates of the Caribbean 3. He was for all intents and purposes the Aquaman of Death (though putting it like that makes it sound even more pathetic)
