Is 300 ping actually that much different from region to region? Or are some people just pickier than others? For me, 300+ ping is more than borderline - well, at least playing SC it’s not very enjoyable.

For me the 100 ping zone becomes uncomfortable. 300 is almost unplayable.

lol, I can’t tell the difference between 100 and 300, and I’m usually on the higher end.

I only play on servers where I have 30 ping or less.

I(canada) remember playing on a tf2 austrailia server with 8 ping once.

it was suprising to say the least.

I just had to set up an account for this. This is really weird because there is a street by my house called Freeman St. And I thought of hl too. Sorry if nobody else thinks this is cool, maybe its just me.

P.S. I’ll play any source game or mod except CS:S cuz thats the one game i dont have. I’d prefer Garry’s Mod.

HL2DM is a game that most (if not all) of us should have for free, so it would probably be the best option.

HL2 dm is free if you have an ati or nvidia graphics card, if you can find the link on steampowered.

I still vote Sven, I am pretty sure about 99% of us already have HL1, so Sven is free like HL2DM. If we do do Sven I suggest we play some of the good custom campaigns as the HL1 campaign, no matter how epic, gets old and is too long.

I hope we don’t choose TF2 of TFc, I’ve played and disliked both.

I’ve been in an Australian L4D server and I played with 1500+ ping, it was actually really smooth. o.0

TBH, even though there is a Gordon Drive near my house, the Gordan sign in my sig is shopped - erm… uh, Gimped would be more accurate, I suppose.
I always thought of HL whenever I saw one of the signs until I started hanging out here - now I always think of Gordan.
