Thats why you have to make use of crouching and proning, nades and smoke, if you cant handle the recoil on the bigger guns use assaults. You don’t have to buy your weapons, you don’t run faster with a knife, you actually make use of teamwork, and number 1 you don’t have to wait 15 god damn minutes every time you die. Dods is superior to css in every way.

Sven Co-Op sounds best to me. I’ve never liked deathmatch games even when I’m good at them.

Sven Co-Op is just HL1 single player turned into multiplayer, if we are going to play that, don’t put it on hard, more than one player doesn’t mean it’s easier to play.

The funny thing with SC is that there’s more servers that feature playing maps/series rather than the original SP story line.

I have a couple friends that run SC servers, I could check around. There’s one in particular that I’m sure would be ok if we “raided” it one night/day. I’ll ask the owner if it’s ok (shouldn’t be a problem, but I’d rather ask first). It usually isn’t very busy lately; I think for a few reasons:

  1. non-XP (lot of people seem to prefer XP these days; but I really don’t have a preference)
  2. the damage for both players and enemies is jacked up quite a bit, making it pretty difficult if there’s only 1 or 2 people playing.
    But if we get a bunch of people playing, I’m sure it would be pretty fun. Just remember: SC now has a revive feature!

I’d say Sven Co-op, considering we played Team Fortress 2 way back in the first BM night.

Edit: Also, getting a good server host is quite important, probably best if he’s in western Europe or the east coast of America(would cover most players’ pings best afaik)
