I found this on ModDB:

It’s only in in its very early stages but what they have so far is really high quality stuff.

Most people already know about Guard Duty, and its been up for awhile so I wouldn’t say its in its very early stages.
I didn’t know exactly how long it had been in development. I just assumed it was early in development because of the content displayed. Also, I wasn’t aware of how many people knew about it…
everyone knows about it
and it’s been up since at least Jun 22 2006
which you can tell by pressing page 98 at the bottom of the link you’ve provided OP
not to be a bitch it’s just that someone posts a link to this at least once a week, that or the ~7 other goldsrc game remakes
;3 that’s why forums have search functions.
Yes I’m pretty sure every game made on the Goldsource engine is currently being remade or has been remade on Source… yes, even Ricochet.
There’s Black Mesa, Operation Black Mesa which is an OP4 remake, this, Hazard Team which is a Decay remake (really looking forward to that) and there’s even gonna be a remake of the mod Black Ops. Only Black Ops really IS only in it’s early stages. Most of the screens they show they’re still just in the mapping process.
Didn’t know about Decay, or Black ops.
Decay looks pretty awesome so far, and the story always interested me. It was like delving into the science behind all the top secret show rooms Shephard went too.
Black ops however I was never too keen on. I don’t recall a level in Black mesa which is something I ALWAYS wanted to play as ( with extra gymnastic abilities ) and it always felt quite empty.
I liked the idea of hunting down rogue Black Mesa personel though.
There is also a remake of the BMS Forums which will be made for the Crysis engine. Early stages so far, they’re currently mapping and installing the “whine mechanic”.
Which iteration of the forums?
leak-free obviously, every newer iteration wouldn’t require cryengine to remake
That was just before I arrived, I don’t think I registered back then. I’m curious to see what those olden days were like… in super high res anti-aliasing motion blur hdr bloom super-triple-hump-mapping displacement shaders.
it was so huge that there was nothing left when it exploded
In all honesty, I’m more pumped for the Blue Shift remake then the Decay, Half-Life, or Opposing Force remakes (doesn’t mean I wont love them though).
Out of curiosity may I ask why you look forward to the Blue Shift remake the most?
I’m more excited for Decay out of all the expansions because I’ve never even played it before, and it’s probably got one of the greatest ‘seen from a different perspective’ parts in the expansions. Namely, listening to what happens in the test chamber from WAY up above.
^ I would love to hear it too, since I personally think Blue Shift is the “shittiest” Half-Life game ever made. (It’s not “Need for Speed shitty” because a Half-Life game can’t be that bad, but still it’s not half as good as the others)
^ Agree the post above.
Operation Black Mesa pump me up the most beside Black Mesa.
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
