my first mod will address the issue of npc clothing. i would like to update the clothing of the security guards. i feel the tucked in pants and boots makes them too militarized, so i will replace it with ordinary leather shoes and a trouser. i will also replace their chrome dome helmet with either a forage cap or a pasgt helmet. the vest looks plausible, it has what looks like individual armor plating inserts, which i will imagine is also stab resistant. although the plating looks strange, as if it was glued on top. i’d like to texture it so it looks like it’s inserted on the inside of the vest.
other clothing ideas: skirts for female scientists, different colored pants and shirts for scientists, full mopp hecu soldiers.
You keep posting about this mod but have you actually done something like this before? Can I see examples of your skills?

I tried to get him to learn how to map/model/texture/etc, but he wouldn’t listen.
i’ve modded for a game called mount and blade:warband. i’ve imported assassins creed models, rigged them in blender(when the smd plugin worked), and have done rudimentary texture work.
i’ve also edited dods models and made them work under server consistency setting:1(when everyone thought it wasn’t possible). you can find them at fpsbanana in dods section. these are all mine:

only those that deserve it. also, i didn’t profit from it(which is what those companies are really worried about), and i was not the one who ripped those models. i found them on facepunch.
oh and look at those german models i made. the cap was by me and now everyone uses it.
Yeah, how about you make some stuff from scratch instead of basing yourself off of the content made by other people.
i did that for various assets in moutn and blade:warband. also, that german hat was 99 percent by me, using polygons in blender.
also, it really depends on necessity. if i can make a skirt from the pant model provided, it would be redundant to completely destroy that pant model and make a skirt from scratch.
that female scientist i showed you above is not my final design, i plan to make the final version look less sexy. with a long skirt.

i made the m43 cap model for the smg class. trp jed(creator of smd converter for blender) compiled it for the smg class. since then, i too have learned how to compile.
