Black Mesa Mods

not using capital letters doesn’t make you a bad person. using only capital letters however… that’s why people go to hell for.

On the internet, I don’t scold for lack of capitalization, I am just mildly annoyed. However…

People who Write like This And can’t Seem To get The Grasp of Writing and Using Capitals, REALLY Pisses Me Off. (Writing that sentence was hard on me)

Dr. Breen, is that you?

I am a pretty good modder, if I do say so myself.
Once BM is released, I will completely mod the game so it looks like it was made back in 1998. I will change everything, textures, sound quality, all to fit in with the 1998 feel.
Also, I plan to remove those annoying physics and make the game more simple.

I think I might call it Black Mesa: Half Life. Or maybe just Half Life. I haven’t decided yet.

The world ain’t right there days…

goes to bed and weeps like a baby

Also, there’s no need to make crappy new models with “realistic” (Retarded and unrealistic looking) female scientists, guards, and soldiers that ruin the game. That’s what Fakefactory’s here for.

You take out of context. I said: “on the internet.” I should have specified and said, “particularly forums.” If I were reading a paper to give critique (2 days ago, made 25 bucks for 15 minutes of work) to somebody, I would surely point out any incorrect capitalization. I have to say, to assume that the internet shares the same level of intelligence as the real world at this point is a bit naive. Too many people see it as an excuse to be completely lazy, because they feel safe that there is only a hard-to-follow link back to themselves in real life, and that nobody is really going to take the time to follow it (not always true)… And the other big factor is the lack of an entry exam…

Are you guys talking about grammar? If so, fascinating.

No, I actually feel the same way about the topic as you do. It’s just that sometimes the urge is so strong… I just though being short ‘n’ sarcastic would work better that writing an essay about it :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh. In that case, I feel stupid, heh. The, not so bad, kind of stupid, not the kind that you feel like you have to— I’m doing it again. Over-embellishing is a problem I have.

Black Mesa: Blue Shift

Why wait for Guard Duty source to remake everything when you can use the black mesa models?

But Guard Duty has some pretty nice lookin’ media. Not a lot, but it is pretty.

Because Guard Duty will be ported to the new versions of Source during its development, BM it’s almost done and will be left as is done nobody will bring changes

Actually,

That is, IF the 2010 SDK is released within the Devs’ timetable. If Valve doesn’t update the SDK in time, the mod will be released on the Orange Box version.

i’ve been inspired by this concept art for deus ex human revolution. i now plan to change the security guard into that character on the left:

If you’re gonna drop the art style completely, go with the middle one.

Edit: Not to imply he’s actually capable of doing it or anything…

^Troll…

Or an idiot

Edit: Typical, Pyro posting before me. DAMN YOU!

Guys! 213 has mad skillz! Eh rips off other people’s ideas without the ability to actually do what he plans and doesn’t afraid of anything!

He’s like Fakefactory, except he steals all his content instead of making it!!!11111! :awesome:

…What happened to the security guards not having uniforms, though?

And why do the scientists all have to wear those ridiculous ties?

a mod were you play as a female assassin would be beast.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
