it would be amazing if the black mesa team made the half life DLC opposing force and Blue shift for black mesa mod.
do you think they should do it?

No, it would be a waste of time to do.
Also the community started making their own remake version of Blue Shift. There is no remake of Opposing Force using Black Mesa assets atm though.

Opposing Force and Blue Shift are being remaked as an standalone mod by TripmineStudios

Paid dlc to a free mod, the thought is somewhat amusing. Talk about free to play.
Is it really considered DLC? Last time I checked they sold in retail as practically standalone.
I believe the term they used was “Expansion Pack”… weather or not you need the base game to play them, I do not know.
Good ol’ times when Expansion Packs actually took them a year or two to make and were pretty much something entirely different from the base game…
None of that Day 1 DLC crap you get these days. That shit is exactly the same as saying “Oh, yeah, you could’ve had this piece of content with the base game, but we need more money, so you’re going to PAY for it”.
The last two Fallout games did expansion packs right.
Black Mesa: Xen, now on EA Origin.
O_o  :aah: :’(
This thread. :meh:
Other teams are making the Opposing Force and Blue Shift remakes in the Source engine. The Black Mesa team will not.
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
