Black Mesa 2009 Update

Ugh, do we have to? :frowning:

Hope springs eternal my friend :freeman:

Gah, I was anticipating another delay. But for the love of God, step on it 'cause y’all’s in OVERTIME.

(proceed with comments about how unappreciative I am)

It will be released before too long… must… be…patient…

attempts to break loose from straight jacket

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say I DO NOT CARE how long this thing takes. Sure, of course I’d rather it be sooner than later, but I can’t really begin to feel any, here’s that word, disappointment. You know why? Because it’s FREE. FRRRREEEEEEEE. I don’t know how much money you have, but you’d still be a fool to understate that fact. This is probly the most stoked I’ve been for anything in this price range. And on a side note, you should really get that sand in your vagina checked out. It’s a more serious condition that you shouldn’t take lightly.

To quote the great and powerful MovieBob (aka: The Game Overthinker)

"It’s all symptomatic of a bigger cancer. The whole damn industry has no sense of discipline anymore. No need to streamline the controls, just spread it over the buttons. No need to finish the game expediently, they’ll wait. No need for the game to actually WORK when it comes out, we’ll patch it in the next firmware update.

Everything comes at a price."

Music to my ears.

You shouldn’t talk about yourself in the third person.

Christ, I didn’t miss you.

[COLOR=‘Red’]Keep on the topic and keep it civil.

wut

he didn’t even speak in the third person :retard:

edit: ninjad by moderator warning

Mr. Smith makes it seem so effortless eh?

AS far as topic, I am unsure if there is ANyone who has not offered their personal struggle or pleasure with the latest announcement. I do admit there might be some ‘lurkers’ that have waited to jump in on the most opportune time. Now is a good time as ever, but go ahead and express it. We will embrace you none the less.

AND…GO!

oh hai im a lurkr i never post on theez forumz oh noez i posted now im ded

It’s 2010. Anything is possible. Even waiting a few months for this mod.

Here’s my perspective on the mod delay:

Upset over the mod’s delay? Think it’s a travesty of justice? Follow these simple steps:

  1. Shut down your computer.
  2. Go outside.
  3. Live a little.
  4. Realize that there’s more to life than a Half Life 2 mod’s release date.
  5. Come back later to see if the mod’s ready. If not, continue from step one. If yes, download it and :jizz:

Hitting the elevator call button a hundred times isn’t going to make the car get to your floor any faster than hitting it once.

…and that’s all I have to say about that.

@s1e9a8n5: Being disappointed for yourself that you won’t get your hands on the mod so soon and being angry with the developers for delaying it are two different things.

For my part, as long as it isn’t delayed into infinity, I don’t mind waiting a little bit longer. It just gives it a chance to become that much more awesome.

please relies before I am dead. it would make me vary happy  . i love halflife :freeman:

I think it won’t come out.
I know developers create this mod with theirs own wills without looking after any benefits but I don’t think they’re taking this enough seriously.
You know… It was clear as a day that it won’t come out on 2009.
And if it goes like that it won’t come out at least one more year, and when it came out it will full of bugs.
If you don’t take it seriously, just tell people that to stop waiting and you will complete the project if it flashes into your minds…

And stop waiting for support of followers. You can’t expect us to cheer or be happy for you or console you after missing the dead line.

I wish you could be more professional…

PS: I guess somebody should have said this to you…

hahaha.

Being disappointed in myself? huh?

I agree.

@Strenkor Mmmmhmmm. So you are calling them a bunch of lazy liars? I don’t think so. On the SLIGHT chance you are right, kudos. However, more professional? That’s a tip for you. Use correct grammar, spell words correctly, and go out and work on a mod for 5 years and make it even HALF as good as this will be. I’m sure these people have 4x the work ethic you do, Mr. Professionality.
