I’m not even going to watch this crappy movie, to be honest.
I didn’t…well I watched up until the headcrabless zombies appeared.
If you haven’t seen it, how do you know that it’s crappy?
Scares Antlions, son.
Also, movie sucks. Woulda been alright if it wasn’t based on HL but it still woulda been cheesy as hell.
It’s a factory. It produces & houses combine units & other equipment. Not to mention powers the entire city, a universe-crossing teleport & possibly other functions we just don’t know about.
Most of their pictures are just the combine logo & alien-looking letters. They could be used for indicating specific things, or psychological warfare.
For starters, there are only 3 ranks. Unmodified human volunteer, modified soldiers who’ve undergone brain surgery & chest surgery, there’s a variant skin for being stationed at nova prospekt & possibly elsewhere (& retroactively a shotgunner texture) lastly there’s the combine Elite, who’ve undergone further modification that’s unknown except for the new red eye.
Yeah, I mean, It’s not like there’s ever intended for you to encounter them in a snowy, arctic location or anything.
The same reason they modified humans, to remove their free will, arm them & turn them against their own kind.
Because I’ve seen the trailer and the first few minutes.
