Best Sequel

A few people think it changed the style of the series, and was inferior to the first two. Idiots.

Well RE2 was my favorite. I didn’t play RE4 until well after the PS3 was released (that’s what I played it on) and by then the controls were so archaic that I just couldn’t get into it. Not saying that it was a bad game. It actually looked like the kind of game that would scare the crap out of me if I played it in the dark. I just couldn’t get over the controls.

It will always be Half-Life 2.

It was best on Gamecube.

Tiberian Sun, Civilization III, HL2, Episode 2, Silent Hill 2, Oblivion, DOA 4, Buried in Time, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Gears of War 2, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory

You could go as far as to say it is one of the best games ever.

Yes, indeed. Right down to it’s awesome co-op feature!

Unless your partner relies on firepower than stealth…[/SIZE]

Lego Star Wars 3, Left4Dead2, Doom 2.

not hl2.

Deus Ex 2 all the way!

But seriously…Half life 2, and Spiderman 2

Or if your parter lags out on you…

Portal Prelude.
Ohwait.

Tough one. I’ll go with HL2, as TF2’s gameplay is being broken more and more, and I don’t like the little things Valve put in (Nemisis, Humiliation, Crits, Revenge, stuff like that)

Humiliation? I wasn’t aware of this.

Also Nemeses and dominations are awesome. In any other game there’ll always be that one player that kicks your ass all the time, and you hate him. In TF2, all they did was code it into the game so you get a little fanfare and satisfaction when you do finally get revenge!

I also like Nemesis and Domination. I have rarely been dominated and when I have, it has been someone that dominated everyone, so I didn’t feel too bad.

I really liked Red Faction 2. I haven’t played the new one (well actually I did play the multiplayer beta, which was awful).

I could say HL2 or some other repeat of what others have said. But to be original and because I think it meets the criteria perfectly, Dungeon Keeper 2.

The original was awesome. The sequel was more of the same, but more awesome in every conceivable way, without taking a single backwards step.

Quake 2 came to mind almost right away. I loved Quake, and Quake 2 has almost nothing to do with it, but it was so much better a game. Awesome.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was spectacular as well. I loved GTA3, but Vice City was above and beyond that by miles. I don’t think there was anything “wrong” with it. Ok, the remote controlled helicopter mission sucked. But I loved the rest of the game to the bone!

No. The Wii version owns them all!

No. All it is is the first two games on one disk with a bonus level. All at full price.
Lego Star Wars 2 would be better, because it was based on the movies that didn’t suck.
I want to see Lego Terminator!

Fuck. I double posted.
I know, I know. Edit your post. I’ll do that from now on.

Grand Theft Auto 3, I could not get over it. I am sure there are a few others, but that just came to mind and I have to leave …and that one half-life game too.

MarioKart 64. Still kicks the crap out of its descendants.

Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge, Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror.

…Am I the only adventure game fan on here?
