It can’t be as bad as Planetside 2.
CPU usage goes up to 100% when playing the beta.
I can confirm that it eats up your CPU. I tried to play it yesterdaybut it stayed at 5-10 fps no matter how low I put the settings.(Worth noting is that the GPU didn’t even go anywhere near full load using “Auto”). I believe my CPU should be able to handle more than it do.

The beta exists for that very reason.
I got about 50-60 FPS on high settings with the latest beta nVidia driver.
BTW, I wouldn’t recommend putting deferred antialiasing on, it makes your FPS drop from the sky.

EDIT: Is anyone else weirdly lagging at objective E? Whenever I go there, my FPS drops by 10 or so.

Well it is sort of understandable, AFAIK game optimization usually happens at the end of a development cycle, once all of the assets are finished. Plus, the whole reason they’re having this beta is to see how well it runs on current hardware and how good the servers are, so if something is wrong, they can fix it.
Yeah. It was the same for Battlefield 3. Everything’ll be fine in the end.
lol everything? I tried having a long range firefight with another assault guy and the bullshit suppression kicked in again, so we both had to give up, take cover and move in closer, I’m starting to wonder if it’s even worth having in the game for the sake of style
By “just like Battlefield 3” you mean horrible right? I haven’t been able to play it in months because of bugs and crashes where once I fix one another comes into play.
Where are all these bugs and crashing in BF3 everyone keeps talking about? I’ve only experienced a bug once or twice while I played it.
Gaaaaaarthbaaaaaaaartin is not PC master race enough for BF.
They’re mostly bugs with it’s shit ass funky web browser/server system. Disconnects, can’t join, etc.
Sounds like router issues rather than the Battlelog. You might need to do some portforwarding. I find that disabling UPnP helps me in BF games.
Is there something special about that gun?
