I’ve never got a chance to try them. I did however experience the fun of being in one of those battle boats put up in the street between ‘D’ and ‘E’. The enemy tanks weren’t expecting to be blown up by a boat that far upon land.
I believe it’s because of a new heli upgrade called “Gyro Stabilizer” that comes installed by default in all attack helicopters.
I think all that does is help you right yourself faster after a huge hit from something like a rocket.
I hate how they still have that roll limit.
I want to do helicopter flips to dodge heatseekers like BF2 damnit.
I just wish you could fucking cook em
I think it would be cool if we could do that.
They should add that (even though apparently cooking grenades isn’t a thing in real life) and have actual keys for leaning instead of the context sensitive shit they have right now.
solarpandahugs is a funny guy
Well, the beta has ended now. Twas fun while it lasted.
Well, there’s 5.53GB I can free up…
I’m gonna miss him.
Hmmm. Maybe they’re thinking about PC gamers for ONCE.
Haven’t DICE always thought about PC gamers? Battlefield sucks on consoles, after all.
I don’t know, but didn’t BF3 promise to be a PC game with consoles getting a PC port, but on release they suddenly said “Oh, well, yeah, we changed that to the opposite half way through development”?
That said, not so sure about them being “PC gaming first” kinda developers.
Dunno, never read they did that. Can you find the source?
BF3 is a PC game through and through. If you’re referring to the lack of in-game browser, that’s because they decided to do it through the Battlelog instead, and honestly, compared to the previous games’ browsers, it’s a big step up in every way. The only thing that sucks about it is that you can’t change the game settings outside the game.
You could tell that the level design suffered some because of the need to fit them on consoles but even then I’ve heard that they’re still terrible and empty on consoles.
