Battlefield 3's System Requirements

I’ve been leveling up my shotgun and now I have 12G Slugs, M145 x3.4 scope with ballistic reticle and extended mag. I snipe people at over 100 meters thanks to that ballistic reticle.

Honestly i don’t even feel like playing anymore now that Caspian is shut down.

Metro just makes it feel like a mix of BC2 and CoD.

That is NOT why I am playing BF. I know it’s testing and all, but testing is just too damn frustrating if it’s on a mediocre map.

So… does anyone know why the Origin download for BF3 open beta is still down? Frankly, it’s starting to make me a very unhappy person.

Curious, but what OS you running?

Damn, I wanted to play more Caspian Border :frowning: .

I never even got a chance to play on caspian border. I really wanted to try it. There’s always the slim chance they’ll open the map up in a week. It’s a slim ass chance though.

Allow me to wet your appetite a bit:

People seem to be saying this is more of a test for Battlelog, like they are noting issues for the game, but it’s more a stability check, and most of the glitches we’ve seen don’t even exist in later internal builds.

Seeing the jets fly above and dogfight above your head is awesome. People were typing over the chat interface about how a helicopter had shot down a jet and the blown up pieces of the jet had smashed into the helicopter and destroyed it. Shame I didn’t see it :frowning: .

Anyway, after playing Caspian Border I have a hard time playing Metro, it’s just nowhere near as good. I’ll probably stick to conquest in the full game, only playing rush to try the levels out or to get some variety.

I’ll probably do the same - rush just isn’t my thing. It’s why I’m not playing right now

Man some awesome things can happen. Vehicle wreckage actually stays in the level for a while and can roll around the environment some - when I was playing Caspian attacking the Hilltop point from the river, a jet shot down a Cobra heli, and it spun out, crashed into the hilltop, and then the wreckage rolled down the rocks over the river and I dove to prone, and it rolled right over me. It was F*ing awesome lol.

EDIT: lol there’s an add for BF3 at the top of this page

I mostly played rush in BC2 but for some reason Metro doesn’t do it for me. I don’t know if it’s the map or just how different 3 is from BC2.

Clipping through the ground 3.

I am running Windows 7 64-bit

That is fucking awesome.

You can torrent the client, I got it from 3FL, didn’t waste a byte of quota
I’ve answered my own question in regards to performance, I tried it on my bros pc which has similar specs and it runs flawlessly, but is the game itself worth buying a new tower for? Still a bit iffy.

And what’s this “feels like BF2/BC2” nonsense? from what I’ve played (which is that stage with no vehicles) it feels like Crysis 2 with a less shittier HUD.

Feels more like crysis 1 to me.

You know what? Fuck it all, it feels like battlefield 3.

I’m looking forward to playing some actual good maps when the game is released.

When you acquire a rank in Rush does it persist for Conquest?

Er…why wouldn’t it? You rank your soldier who you use for all multiplayer matches. That’s how it’s been since BF2.

BF2 didn’t have anything besides conquest…
