I haven’t checked the FPS yet, but it runs pretty smooth on Ultra with 2x fsaa.
Also a teammate hit a heli with a crane and the wreckage fell down and rolled over 3 enemies that were trying to kill me. It was O_o worthy.

i wonder if they will bring us bf3 maps in bf4
why does this remind me of modern warfare 2
Because MW2 had map packs from CoD 4?
But IW ripped the levels from CoD 4 with some touch ups. This was a completely different engine so they had to redesign the levels completely (aside from the layout).
I like the guy driving the forklift with a guy sitting on the front . I don’t understand why they didn’t make the BF3 levels like this anyway, with 7 or so flags in good positions.
^ I KNOW!!! I’d have preferred every vehicle be driveable. Even the civilian cars littered about the urban maps. Why? Because for the fuck of it.
Well, they could have still copypasta’d if that were the only factor.
I’m betting the major renovations would probably be due to new player size, speed, jump height, mobility, and view distance. Plus there’s all the ways that the vehicles have changed.
Obviously implementing destruction is a huge factor.
I’m expecting these maps to play completely differently than their BF2 counterparts, despite their similar layouts. Anyone hoping for a replica or a nostalgia trip should stop holding their breath.
That, and they can’t use assets from a 6 year old game, especially considering how much effort went into graphics for BF3.
