Assassin's Creed 3

Hopefully the more RDR-esque gameplay will allow me to actually play this one without getting bored. Though I still need to play Revelations…

Climbing trees seem like a pretty cool gameplay mechanic.

I better get to kill lots of Americans.

… that is all.
Also, is that upgraded graphics I see? My eyes must be tired from seeing the same textures in Assassins Creed II, Brotherhood, and Revalations.

the team of ac3 is not the same as ac:b ac:r.

They working on its since AC2 so i think they take enough time to get better results.

I am disappointed.

After Revelations, hell, after Brotherhood, Desmond seemed as ready as he was going to be to face off with Abstergo.

If that is not a big portion of this game, I may skip it, unless they bring a really fresh and amazing looking experience to the table.

RDR style is neither fresh or amazing, IMO. I was not a fan of RDR, beat it once and pretty much set it down and haven’t touched it since.

Yeah, as far as I can see they are milking it at this point. It’s very obvious that everyone want’s to play Desmond’s story and no more of the Ancestral stories. It has gotten old, fast, We spent 3 games in the same era, and I don’t like spending another 3 in the World War era.

I feel like that outfit doesn’t really fit, except for the places he uses it in the snow.

What’s the point of this game is you put it somewhere with very few tall buildings?

Change of pace. Isn’t that what people wanted? Fresh gameplay? Seems like there not being very many tall buildings will change the gameplay quite a bit.

Did you read the article in my first post? There’s still plenty of stuff you can climb, like trees, mountain cliffs and other kinds of natural formations.

That’s still a change from always climbing tall buildings, which was my point, unless you weren’t referring to me.

Yeah, that was for Someonerndm.

Pretty sure you’ll be killing redcoats.

If I’m not mistaken, weren’t the founding fathers Templars? Also…

Want; nay, NEED.
If these screenshots are anything to go by, my hopes are fulfilled. I played about one seventh of the way through ACI, then all of ACII (within reason). But I just wasn’t as interested in AC:B and I was borrowing it anyway so I just gave it back. But this could potentially be a breath of fresh air from all the climbing. If this really is MGS3’s survival elements+RDR environments+AC’s everything else it will be a launch day purchase for me. Also please let the main character actually be American Indian, it’s too interesting to pass up.

Also, dat snow. Skyrim be damned.

But the fact that Desmond Miles is American never pissed you off? That family HAD to make it to America at one point you fucking idiot, otherwise how the fuck is Desmond where he is and who he is?

I’m not sure if that’s a matter of opinion really. It’s a matter of taking the outstanding and most prominent features and comparing them with recent releases. afaik, there wasn’t a lot of RDR type stuff around at the time… I’m pretty sure there were few if any open world games in the early 1900s at the time. Especially not something with gun-play that smooth.

Jesus fuck he really went to town there. I didn’t read his edited post until now, wow. :fffuuu:

Where in the hell do they brew hate that strong?

Is he from France or Spain or something?

You’re probably just mad because whatever country you are from isn’t significant enough to get in video games.

Yeah, I read it. It just doesn’t sound like it will substitute. The whole fun of the city was leading across rooftops in pursuit of some guy on the ground, and I don’t get the sense there will be as much of that in this.

Better have some iroquois in the game
