Personally, the concept looks pretty cool. I wish they would step out of their comfort zone though, and make this game less AC and more Red Dead Redemption. What I mean is that for me, it would be awesome to have a giant open environment as well as big cities. I dream of an AC game that exists without any stupid “memory barriers” cutting out areas between cities.

Your hate for the game is obviously fueled by your hate for the country it is set in, because you can’t outright say a game is going to be ruined after seeing one piece of concept art. Maybe you should try to look past your personal opinions of the country.
I wouldn’t mind if the trade off for less buildings to run on would be a more Red Dead Redemption style gameplay.

This could be interesting. I’ve never been a fan of this time period for games, especially if you have to use the firearms of the era, but since it’s assassin’s creed you would still be using melee weapons. Maybe we will use things like hang gliders for open field areas and climb trees in forests?
I wonder why the cover art has the character wearing that type of outfit? I mean I know it’s consistent with the other games but it doesn’t seem like it’d be the right thing to wear, especially if he ever wants to blend in.

It also makes sense story wise if you notice the ending of Rev. I understand all the anti-American twats will finally have something to bitch about, but nigga please.
What I’m interested in is the character. Based on his headdress, tomahawk, necklace, and cowskin boots, it seems likely that he will be Native American. The bow and arrow also introduces some interesting concepts. I can just imagine stalking officers through the forest.

I just noticed, this opens up the possibilities for very unique and exciting multiplayer modes! Shooter fans will be pleased as Ubisoft reveals the new capture the flag and team death match options! Be amazed as you experience the tension of standing shoulder to shoulder with your fellow countrymen shooting straight at the enemy till someone falls over!
In serious discussion, I sort of hope they get over their obsession of assassins all wearing white hoodies, using fancy switch blades, (How could they evolve that any further? Triple wrist blades!?) jumping off towers into hay bales, etc.
I’ve been wanting to get into Assassin’s Creed for years but I just never brought myself to follow them.
But an Assassin’s Creed set during the American Revolution? FUCK, son I’m buying errything assassin’s and creed-like.
