It is idiotic to take every claim equally. Some claims have no evidence and you are perfectly justified in disregarding them until evidence arrives.
Atheism is a position of someone who is not convinced that god exists. They are not saying god doesn’t exist they are just saying there is no reason to assume he does.
If you answer anything but yes to the question,“do you believe god exists?” then you are an Atheist.
Sure everything has a possibility, no matter how small, of existing.
But most things are not worth mentioning until there is substantial evidence to support the claim that they exist.
You don’t see doctors performing exorcisms when you are sick.
And that is because there is no evidence to assume that you get sick because you are possessed by demons. They look where the evidence points to.

There is also no reason to say we were created by something in the first place, which is a far better argument.

If we were created by something, then what created that something?
If there is a species of life advanced enough to create life, then is there a species of life advanced enough to create that life?
That sort of argument doesn’t hold up to logic in any stretch of the mind.
If the myth of Adam and Eve holds any truth, then we’re all sons and daughters of incestuous union.
Then look at the risks and factual results of incest and inbreeding.
But it doesn’t hold truth because there was no first man or woman.
Evolution is fact and shows that there never was a first man or woman.
I’m not saying life was either created by a superior being/species or evolved from basic organisms. Both are probably true. There could be a species that evolved on their own planet and over time learned to create life.
What are the chances of human beings with so many flaws in their bodies too evolve like this from pure chance?
I wouldn’t say pure chance. It was by random genetic mutation and natural selection.
The chances of that are 100% because it already happened.
Evolution is a fact.
Just because evolution is fact doesn’t mean there can’t also be creators.
