Ask a Tarantula Owner

I own a female Chilean Rose Tarantula called Incy (Hurrr Hurrr Hurrr)
She is an 8-9 year old Tarantula. She is incredibly placcid, is actually pink and is a fairly low maintenance pet. I have no pictures of her on either of my computers at the moment but I may get one in the future (if I can get a photo of her)

Also, inb4lock.

How is she in bed?

Not bad…Not bad…better than my ex anyway

At least its venom is less dangerous than your ex’s.

at least its nipples aren’t inverted

If I got one, and just let it roam around the house freely, what would happen?

Do they really taste like crab?

What most spiders do, look for darker areas. There they wait till you sleep then they rape your family.

As Jeannotvb said, it would look for a darker area, find little prey, curl up and die.
If I left Incy’s tank open, she first has to negotiate getting down a book shelf at about a meter away from the floor, get past the 2 cats and then probably hide under the sofa…having said that the gecko did manage to do it (yes we have a leopard gecko too)

Nahh more like shrimp

What species do you have?

Chilean rose (Grammostola rosea)

Do you ever get tired of making shitty threads?

What does it eat?

live mice?

Does it eat lizards? I have a bearded dragon so just to make sure one does not eat the other

I think it sort of depends on size, I’ve seen large Tarantulas eat live mice but smaller ones usually ate insects.

what if, instead of one, I got 10 of them?
