Ask a Muslim!

I actually wonder whether you’ve seen it, or only heard about it?

I’m also pretty sure you don’t know what Westergaard did when an extreme right winged Dutchie used his cartoon for an anti-Islam movie? I bet you don’t know what Westergaard did to an organisation that used his cartoon as an example to show how Muslims are brutal primitives that fight a wrong war.

Only the extremists are “brutal primitives”, I’ve worked with many Muslims, they never run at me with a knife screaming allah, in fact they barely talk about there religon unless theres a wedding or if there celebrating something, in which case I love to hear about it, I’m fascinated by other cultures

You didn’t read my post very well, didn’t you?

That organisation claimed that all Muslims are brutal primitives, and they used Westergaard’s cartoon in a promotional poster or video, whatever. Westergaard sued them because he does not want to be associated with those people and doesn’t want the image to be pulled out of the original context.

true i didnt, and have no idea what Westergaard is…

so no one is interested in this thread anymore ? :stuck_out_tongue:

p.s keep it about “Islam” itself guys don’t ask me about Mid east conflicts

-nvm-

wanted to ask something ? :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s the dude who drew this:
https://www.pekingduck.org/archives/mohammed%20cartoon%20danish-thumb.jpeg

And muslims/religious people/hypocrites/whatever should not click that link.

what’s your (And everyone elses for that matter) take on the latest ban of the veil in France?

I don’t have anything against them, every country has its own laws and rules

on a side note : that “black veil” is kinda wrong, we hate too, in the hadiths Mohammad said clearly that when Girls reaches puberty they should cover their bodies and only show their “Face & Hands” and that covering the entire body including the face is just stupid and wrong

I’ve got a question. Pictures like the following have been shown round the news for the last decade, and I was often wondering whether or not these people are representative for Muslims in general or not. I thought they are rather not, but the question remained, what kind of people are those on the pictures? Radical Taliban? Fundamentalists? People who are only influenced by fundamentalists, but not being fundamentalist themselves? Care to venture a guess or suggestion?

all of it, actually they are exaggerating a lot

There’s a racist party in Britain, called the BNP. They have rallies that look like that, but it’s certainly not representative of the British public.

is to Islam as

is to Christianity.

BNP just hate gays and immigrants, they “try” to hard now a days to look innocent so they won’t rally. The big issue for us in England is the “English Defence League”, the news over exgarettes their rallies, but they want all mosques pulled down, burkas banned etc. in this country. They are a “miniorty” and do not represnt the english people, extremists are also “miniortys” and do not represent all muslims, and I hate to subscribe to Godwins law… but once you start treating miniortys as the majority and convince others of it, you become like Hitler, a man we didn’t fight two world wars to stop so we (Their ancestors) could start behaving just like him. Hopefully that clears that up

Actually, you fought only one world war to stop him. And it was the second. The first world war was not against Nazis, but against the German “Kaiserreich”. Nazis appeared no sooner than 1920, two years after the first world war had been won by the allied forces.

To be fair, Hitler was a soldier in WW1

He even got lethally wounded, but was treated by some Belgian peasants :<

Boy those peasants surely bit their own asses when that asshole became Fuhrer of Germany.

did this turn into ask a Nazi thread ? :stuck_out_tongue:
