Hand, leg and rear count as “sensitive parts”. So I gather a husband isn’t allowed to beat his wife at all - it is just expressed in a very complicated and misunderstandable manner.
North America would be mostly protestant.
As for your second question, people are stupid and don’t necessarily do what their faith tells them to do. For example, the crusades.
+1 Truths to you sir.
Oh please, I’ve heard of HEAPS of cases where people have entered a religion in their adult life. Stop being so ignorant.
We’d rather THEM stop being so ignorant. That would be more beneficial for mankind in the long run.
stupid question seriously
no ,the only real thing that splits Christianity from Islam, that we see Jesus as a prophet ,not son of God ,it’s written in the Quran how God ascended him into Heaven before the Romans tried to kill hm and we believe in his second Coming
no, I choose it my self with my heart
that’s beyond my knowledge bro am sorry =/
wife beating…I don’t know why do they translate it that way =/, I have the exact explanation for it but the only problem is how to roughly translate it into English =/
as for the 2nd video, it’s so obvious that it’s been edited by some Anti-Islam fanatics
I don’t think it’s a stupid question - it can enlighten people who don’t believe as to why you do. For example, was it a conscious adult choice or were you introduced to it by your parents/family? Or it could be that you find serenity in being religious, or that it gives meaning to your personal beliefs.
Those two, my parents have nothing to do with it, Since I was young I researched, Studied, and looked for answers, and I found out that Islam is my choice
p.s watch this video, it touched me a lot
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAQ_9LnUqik
p.ss I once watched the passion of the Christ and it really hit my emotions a lot, although I don’t believe he was crucified but some of that film is true, he was bullied and was betrayed by his own followers "Judas --> “Yahoda” in Arabic, and the most best scene that I felt awesome is that when he wakes up in a whole new body, like I said I don’t believe that he Died but that scene reminds me of how amazing god’s powers are, like no matter how bad a person bodies gets, god can bring it back a whole new
Too bad it’s just a movie, and not real life.
dude, seriously just because you don’t believe in it, it doesn’t me you can prove it wrong can you ? don’t tell me you can with science.
I do both believe in science and religion
but like I said I don’t believe that we were once “apes”
And that’s the brilliance of the “god” concept, an invention made by the people that wrote the Koran/Bible/Dianetics etc.
“Oh, we can’t prove that there’s an invisible pink unicorn flying around in the sky, but that doesn’t mean that you can disprove that there’s an invisible pink unicorn flying around in the sky!”
And thus, we have centuries of drones following these cults.
So I can say that there’s a 500 pound Australian panda living in the center of the earth that created the entire universe, and it would be real just because no one can disprove it?
are you starting to speak like a 12 years old kid who pretends to know everything ?
all the non-religion people here kept it civil and open minded, I suggest you do the same bro
You can’t pick and choose with the theory of evolution, and just cut off the parts that doesn’t fit your belief.
Edit:
I don’t see how his post isn’t civil, except perhaps the “drone” part, but that’s relative.
The point he makes, and the analogy, are right though; it is essentially the same thing you (and other people in other threads) are doing, saying that because he can’t disprove your god, his point isn’t valid.
I concur w Shadi. JohnKiller118 if you want to continue to be invited to intelligent conversations, you really need to learn to keep it light and civil while exchanging ideas, thoughts and opinions about things of a religious nature.
We ALL want the debate threads to stay open. amiright?
If dolphins can come from something sheep-like, why couldn’t humans come from apes?
Even if you believe that man is god’s best creation, couldn’t you believe he achieved this creation through natural processes, rather than just suddenly implanting us on earth?
He could have done it that way so humans fit in with the world just as well as birds do, for example.
No, if Martin Luther, and John Calvin would have listened to their parents the deformation would never have happened. Also the Crusades happened because Muslim extremists killed Jews and Christians going towards Jerusalem because they (the muslims) misinterpreted their own text (see Surah 9:5). The Crusades started when Muslims burned down a Church with people in it on the temple mount.
Nice popcorn story bro
this is as much a Jordanian question as a Muslim one but what do you reckon about the isreal/palestine situation? what do you see as a good solution if you think ones even possible
Martin Luther left the church because they were selling indulgences to the highest bidder.
It was more a case of the pope and his consorts wanting to conquer the “holy land”, and then fabricating a number of reasons to convince their followers to go and rape the shit out of them.
Also,
by that logic, language would never change, no-one would ever do anything their parents tell them not to, and no-one would ever misinterpret or differently interpret something.
