Ask a Muslim!

well what ya think ? the “kennesset” spelling? once said and most of them agreed and fully support the Idea, that Jordan is Palestine and all Palestinians should all move to Jordan, now be honest, don’t you think that this is thee most despicable move those Idiots can make ? what you think of that ? of course Jordanians will be pissed at this statement. oh and btw, Israel still considers the option the take the Northern Hills of Jordan “the place where I live” so it can easily oppress Amman and submit Jordan under Israel’s rule, did you hear that in the news or even documentaries ? I doubt that

And Iran thinks America is a massive imperialist power trying to invade all muslim lands to become a world empire. It’s all perspective.

Never said I supported Iran, in fact they’re more dangerous to us than they are to you, do you really think that Iran gives a shit to us ?

With somebody as crazy as Ahmadinejad being president, it only makes sense that they’re dangerous.

you may not believe it but the whole Iran-Israel conflict is just bullshit, Ahmadinejad family were jews including him, the whole story is to let Iran seize more lands and control the Gulf.

Is there anything that you talk about that isn’t related to conspiracy theories?

what conspiracy ?! it’s a FACT, Iran is more dangerous to us than both US and Israel Combined

I was using it as an example only.

No one’s saying that Iran is a safe country, but the theory that it’s leader being jewish is part of some plot to seize surrounding Muslim states seems a bit farfetched. I think it’s a far simpler case of a dictator wanting more land; Iran would happily occupy any country around the gulf and mediterraenan.

I’m kind of wondering when “Ask a Muslim” became “Muslims, ask everyone else” and “Let’s debate middle-east politics”.

Perhaps it’s when Shadi either couldn’t or wouldn’t ask the questions posed to him and, instead tried to resort to diversionary tactics.

Shadi, perhaps you could get back on topic? If you don’t know the answer, say so. And, perhaps, you or another Muslim could finally answer my question:

Does the Qur’an or the Islamic religion say that non-Muslims cannot depict Mohammed?

though am not really sure about it, but I don’t think that there is a verse concerning “non-muslims” drawing Mohammed, but please think about this, do you really think that Drawing Mohammed as a monster or anything that is completely offensive is a good thing ?

Then why should non-Muslims not depict Mohammed? What religious backing does any Muslim have to tell non-Muslims what they can and cannot do?

I understand that it goes against the precepts of the religion and I understand that Muslims don’t like it. That’s not the point. Why the fatwas*? Why don’t Muslims simply not depict him or anything else that the religion teaches you to not depict and issue fatwas to Muslims who break that? Why are they issued to non-Muslims?

  • I know what the term actually means.

good point, but am not really sure why though, it’s indeed that the “do not draw the Prophet” is only applied to muslims, but I don’t know why they issue fatwas to non-muslims ?! that’s really weird

Thank you.

Except you were saying something that sounds alot like a consparicy theory. Nobody ever said you are safe from Iran, but that sounds a little far fetched if you ask me.

np  , finally we’re getting along :stuck_out_tongue:

Is there any way, for a Muslim, to peacefully abandon his religion and become atheist, if he wants to? Or is there some kind of punishment for that. And what punishment would that be?

Not getting your 72 virgins.

this is a sensitive issue and I actually Read about that a few days ago, now I can’t simply give you a 1 word answer but here’s a link that could really help you https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostasy_in_Islam

Uhm… yeah. Okay. Such a peaceful religion Islam is… why on Earth would people criticize it?

irony

So, basically, in most cases, a guy like me (atheist) would either be clubbed to death by his neighbors or sentenced to death by court, if I lived in an Islamic country instead of a Christian one? Whew… guess I was a lucky one, being born in Europe, then…

Yeah well, none of us would probably be atheists if we lived in the Middle East anyway :stuck_out_tongue:

But that makes what you said even more true; lucky to be born in Europe…
