Ask a Christian

Is there a question in there?

yes I know about placebo and placebo effect but monks don’t do those things. do you even understand what being monk means?

about divisions. in video no orthodox believers were mentioned but I’ll explain my point. People(98% of them)are retards, stupid animals and i hate most of them. so those retards have been fighting with each other about everything since the beginning and it is same for today. and about American believers I want to say that they consider religion and church as something like place to have fun not to regret their sins and the thing that they are far away from god. don’t take this as if in my country things are wonderful and in America no one understands anything.

bible is full of metafors but there is also lot literally written. I’ll show you an example. as you know in bible is written that man was made from earth, if you think for a bit the robots which we make from metal are made from earth as well since the metal is taken from earth, but unlike them we have one thing the SOUL which was given to us by god. what is soul i don’t know but i think that it has influence on physical body. I talk about “if you are evil it can be seen on face” thing.

i think it is not on earth. but who knows?

hell is forever(gladly)

about the images. we have icons in our country but the icon is something like the church the place where you pray to god. of course you can pray to him any time as well, but there are people who worship not the saint but icon and that is the thing what is wrong.

DEFINITIONS

Christianity:

The belief that a cosmic Jewish zombie, who was also his own father, can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and drink his blood and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from you that is present in all of humanity because of a woman, who was created from a human rib, was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree…yeah, makes sense to me!

Muslim:

Same thing except he wasn’t his own father and instead of emulating a zombie, you just kill people who don’t agree with you.

what do any christians think of the woman in this interview?

Ok I will ask some questions.

  1. What do Christians think of my faccoughtheory about god?
  2. Why did God kill more people in the bible than the devil?
  3. Why did they take the parts out of the bible where Jesus killed someone and there was like a dragon in it at some point (true story)

Actually, it makes sense and explains a lot

Yes, I do. Placebo effect means being cured by psychology rather than drugs or miracles. In other words, someone can get better when he thinks he is better. Perhaps people that burn Gabriel’s oil get cured because they think they are cured, not because the oil can actually heal them. In this case, they could be cured if you give them normal oil and say it is Gabriel’s oil.

That is just an opinion, you don’t need to give an answer.

Shouldn’t you “love your enemies”?

I think it is better for people to go have fun in church than to go because they have to, don’t you think? It would be better, however, if they went to church to discuss and learn useful things.

Let me just give you an advice: don’t regret your sins too much. It is better to compromise yourself to do something in a different way than to feel bad about what you did wrong. After all, to do the wrong thing gives you a gift: wisdom. To do the right thing doesn’t teach you anything. That is my opinion.

:fffuuu:

Seriously, why are you glad for the hell being forever? To me, hell being forever is really bad.

All right, one more question. Suppose everyone dies (for instance, it is October 21st and the world ended). Then God says everyone you know is going to hell: your mother, father, brothers, sisters, friends, church colleagues, that old lady that says you hi when you walk in front of her house… They all seemed to be good people, they seemed to love you, all of them helped you, but, for some reason, they don’t deserve to go to heaven.

However, God says you can go to heaven: you were a good person, regretted all your sins, helped the poor selflessly… So you are saved. Suppose also that those poor people that you helped also went to hell.

Have you ever thought of this possibility? Would you be able to go to heaven and forget everyone you knew? Would you be happy that you are in heaven while at the same time knowing that everyone you loved in your life is in hell?

well you should show her to doctors not to Christians

no one says that you must regret sins whole time. you mas regret it when you commit it and learn the lesson and do not repeat same.

to be honest if i die now i think most probably i ll get to hell. for your question i ll answer that, just being kind is nothing, you must fight to make world better. for example my father - very good person very kind and very smart, has good job family loves as well as friends and people who just know him respect very much. but he is a smoker and he chats with woman in Internet (and not about making world better) while has wife. most probable he will get to hell but less probable than for others. well you say: “smokes and what?” well the main problem is not smoking itself but the fact that he can not stop it. in my native language freedom is called - tavisupleba. and to translate world by word it will mean lord of himself. so the real freedom is when mind dominates over body and this is what is requested by god. i may be pity for them but they had 50+ years to work their way to heaven but you know way to it is narrow and hard.

lol going to hell for smoking
your god isn’t very forgiving or understanding is he

But, you didn’t answer gugamilare’s question.
"Would you be happy that you are in heaven while at the same time knowing that everyone you loved in your life is in hell? "

Yes, Assassin, you didn’t answer my question. I said “suppose”, it’s a supposition.

If you want me to answer my own question, If God told me to go to heaven, I would go to heaven (I’m not dumb to throw myself to hell), but I wouldn’t be able to feel happiness knowing that all the people I loved are in severe pain and they cannot get out of hell for eternity. If I, a sinful creature, cannot be happy knowing that there are people that I love in hell, then God, who loves everyone regardless of their sins, will not send people to hell forever, he can’t. Perhaps he can’t send people to hell even for a single hour.

So, would you be able to be happy in heaven in those circumstances?

“what do any christians think of the woman in this interview?”

OH GOD NOT HER, ANYTHING BUT HER
It doesn’t matter whether you are christian, jewish, muslim, atheist, or an creepy sub-human hybrid of those things NOBODY LIKE THAT WESTBURO BAPTIST CHURCH

She creeps me out so much

Westboro may have differing opinions on trivial things, but they believe in jesus right? If that’s all it takes to get saved, does that mean they’re going to heaven too?

I love how christians go “We’re all christians, we all believe in jesus and are just the same” yet disagree on so much, and all not so secretly think all the other sects and other religions are going to burn in hell for eternity. Considering that their strengths rely on only their collective group as christianity, (estimated at about 2.1 billion people) being as general as denominations can get (there are about 38,000 specific ones), roman catholics make up about half at a billion. So even if you’re part of the largest major denomination, 5/6ths of the entire world’s population is going to hell.

I would actually say that the Roman Catholic Church is also very divided from inside. I’ve seen two catholic prayer groups fight to each other because one group “stole” members from the other group. There are Catholics that believe in science, others that think science is evil, most believe that Catholic Church is always right and others that think otherwise, there is the “Catholic Charismatic Renewal” and the ones that are completely against it, rock bands that wear devil shirts and traditional gospel singers…

There are lots of tiny groups (inside and outside Catholicism) which claim that they are “true Christians”, that the group of “true Christians” is small and that all other forms of Christianity is wrong and implicitly say that they are going to hell unless God shows mercy on them. In this case, if one of those groups is actually right, then 5/6ths of the world going to hell is little. But the chances of any of those groups being right… that is another question.

One a side note, the worst problem with Christianity is not that they disagree, that is completely normal. The worst problem is that they fight and divide themselves because of their differences and spend a lot of time arguing about trivial things, while the things that really matter are left aside.

"Would you be happy that you are in heaven while at the same time knowing that everyone you loved in your life is in hell? "

I’ll say that i don’t know how soul feels after separating with body(since i haven’t died yet) but i think that feeling are much different. so i think as max i will regret that they are in hell. but hell has few levels, less sins less deeper.

bullshit.

muslims don’t do same? whole world doesn’t does same? thats not problem of Christians thats problem of humans.

Had to be done

Hey, Hideo Kojima makes all kinds of money off of stuff far crazier.

Exactly, it is bullshit, which is why christians shouldn’t think of themselves as one big group. So assassin, that means (for sake of argument every single person in your sect is good enough to go to heaven) that only YOUR sect of christianity will go to heaven. How many people is that? A couple million? I hope hell has enough room for almost everyone who has or ever will be on the entire planet whether they’ve been wonderful people or not. Religions of course never think about these things so nobody realizes how stupid the whole thing is. Religion has never really been about thinking though, more of having others think for you.

Actually it’s more of a problem of religion. Science has some differences, but is always converging towards what is most true/accurate via peer review as opposed to religion being divergent whenever someone pulls something out of their ass.

That sounds bad, although it is possible.

This might be true. I think that the amount of divisions in religions is due to science and modern times. Reason allows you to question the concepts that bother you, and different people are bothered in different ways - and therefore create different religions.

@Assassin

  1. Is the Bible inerrant?
  2. The Bible says that man was made in God’s image. Does God have two eyes, a nose and a mouth?
  3. Is the story of the great flood factual?
