… you must be a complete idiot. My rule is don’t complain about something and not have a solution. I’m not just bitching on here and saying: fix it! fix it!!! I’m presenting an obvious problem and providing some structure to actually doing something about it. To put it simply so you can understand…

Problem + Bitching about Problem = Reoccurring Annoying Problem
Problem + Smart-ass with Solution = Annoying Problem Solved

I’ve done all I can, now its your turn to improvise and implement.

Ok, I will try again. The webpage is managed by hubi. Hubi gets his direction from the project lead aka cman2k and will not do anything unless it has been cleared by the project lead. AT this stage cman2k does not find a need to update the website, the twitter or anything else. The reason? Because regardless of what is done on the website or the twitter or any other area, people will still find something to complain about. The annoying problem as you said DOES NOT GO AWAY. How do I know this? How does the rest of the ‘regulars’ here know this? Cuz we have all seen it happen time and again.

Again, if you think you can convince hubi and/or cman2k that making these changes will make any difference, then be my guest.

And the BM Steam Group hasn’t been touched in over 2 years. There IS NO information being passed to the fan base. This is why so many people are irritated.

It’s a lost cause. They are set in their ways and absolutely nothing outside the forums, the wiki, or RAM’s avatar will be ‘updated’ or changed in anyway… probably until it is released.

It doesn’t matter who says what, or how legitimate of an idea is produced, it’s going to be the way it is unless they personally feel like doing something about it. Just be content that its free and if you don’t like it just leave.

Sorry but its true. Also don’t bother posting ideas because its just annoying to them and they consider you a bitching newfag.

cman2k, why are you choosing to do nothing when updating and linking to the recent updates in the wiki from the places people frequent most is both easy and it appeases at least some of the people that stop by? No new information, no new media, just a link. Those that continue to complain will have done so regardless, but it will certainly be less. You may not notice that people are actually grateful, because people will be satisified to themselves, but at least you tried.

I for one just found out about the new new MP5 model from December. It looks pretty snazzy! Shame on me for not seeing this stuff sooner I guess, but it was a little difficult to locate because I went through the “Recent Changes” area, which seems to have a lot of “Talk” area updates. Located it by it’s “thumbs” update pic.

You’re right, people should have to feel like they earned it. Who knew the internet didn’t evolve to what it is today because of efficiency and ease of access. We need to slow that down.

That’s not true - I see Catz and Stormseeker there all the time. In fact, Stormseeker has been pretty generous in sharing information - including details of Ram’s taint fetish (which was completely unsolicited…‘Hell hath no fury’ I guess.)

What’s interesting about that rocket launcher is that it says “Black Mesa Research Facility Property” on the side. Why does Black Mesa need to have rocket launchers around?
I guess it could be a relic from the old days as a military base, but it looks awful new and fancy.
