Why should the devs bend over backwards to provide a larger audience of strangers with a mod that quite clearly has had many hours put into it. I really cannot see the need for conspiracy theories or just general animosity towards the devs for just cracking on with their work. They aren’t busy spoon feeding the public by regularly changing the site because there are more important things to be getting on with (like the mod for example)
Also, please, for those who keep using phrases like ‘No information is being passed to the fan base’ or ‘This mod hasn’t updated in ages’ to spare you the trauma of having to click your mouse twice, you can just click once here and browse to your hearts content. These are the updates, they pretty much will always be the updates until the mods release. If your unhappy with this, come back when the mod is finished. Also:
The topic was from vormaen who was trying to discuss how despite a portion of the community who feel fine with current progress, the rest of the community feels pissed about the lack of communication and how the devs are not paying attention to their needs. In honesty, I’ve seen mods who are more involved with their fanbase, but most are not essentially creating a game from scratch, and it’s really up to them to decide how they deal with their media.

come on guys…it’s been a while…release the damn game…the graphics will get more and more outdated…the people waiting for the game more and more angry…but for me it would also be fine if this mod gets canceled so i wont have to visit the page 10 times a day

A product of the mid 1990’s: spoiled brat who got into gaming like a year ago, and thinks graphics are everything.
Now if you don’t mind, I’m off to enjoy a game of Zork (with no graphics to speak of!).
What I find particularly humorous was the notion that, supposedly, the mod is done and the devs are just holding onto it to annoy people like razi.
It’s their preecccccciiiiiiiiiiousssss.
i find that kind of offending.And i do believe that 2d graphics never get old…but that doesnt work for 3d(in my case).Let’s just say that i’m a gamer for no less than 12 years.And i do find it hard to wait for a game…that is based on an engine already developed,a story already known for such a long time.I really think it should be finished by now.
