Preordered this cuz Penumbra Ruled and i play my cash quick and wild. anyone else getting this because they are cool and like fun games? or maybe you want to explain how you are ugly and cowardly and you live in a wind tunnel but the wind is farts so you are not going to buy or pirate and play amnesia: the dark decent.

I really liked the physics engine in Penumbra but I couldn’t get past the wolf part in the first game. Looks pretty cool, though. I might get it eventually.
Plays like a mix between Penumbra and Call of Cthulhu, I will enjoy this tremendously if it manages to keep the oppressing atmosphere of a looming, unknown menace without resorting to the utter silliness of the late Penumbra games.
Pre-ordered months ago and feeling like I won’t regret it.

I have to admit that part worked well. I’m considering pre-ordering, and now I’m just wondering which store to buy it from (obviously, buying direct from them gives the most support, as Steam normally takes 50%)
i ddidnt consider that and just got it from steam but i think maybe i remember them mentioning their shop copies can be redeemed on steam?? maybe
I just watched a gameplay video of it, and I couldn’t get past the annoying camera bobbing & a good chunk of it was too dark to see anything.

I’m definitely getting this, I played through all the Penumbra games and they were all great!

Looks really good, already pre-ordered it on steam, loved both penumbra games and a fan of horror games so this should be good.
Tried the demo, pretty promising. I found Penumbra to be more pants shitting in the first 5 minutes, but this was still pretty creepy. I think I peed a little in the water part.
And oh god, dat teeth grinding. So hard to listen to.
At least he sanity meter thingy was something new.
I’ll keep trying with it, but I was kinda annoyed that they insisted “let the atmosphere envelope you” (feel free to explore!) and yet you get this time-rush thing from staying in the darkness too long, and how you HAVE to progress further to stop the camera from shaking with shader effects.

I kind of agree but it also can make the gameplay more intense when you just have to move on instead of hiding in a corner for ten minutes (did it a lot in penumbras 
). Nothing can’t be said for sure though before I have played the full game.
