Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs (not official title)

https://www.nextfrictionalgame.com/

A new game by the company that made Penumbra and Amnesia. Speculated release date of Fall 2012. There’s this whole ARG thing about the game so far, there’s a thread on the developer’s site about it. Here’s a wiki with all the stuff about the ARG so far.

Looks to be a sequel to Amnesia, or it has something to do with it. It also seems to be that Frictional is working with the developers of Dear Esther.

Haha awesome. Reminds me of the commodore 64.

I loved Amnesia and I’ve yet to play Dear Esther but these 2 companies working together on a sequel is gonna be awesome! High-end graphics AND high-end gameplay!

Frictional Games and thechineseroom working on one game?! OH MY GOOOOOD

Dear Esther combined with Amnesia?! Too extremely hormone activating, brainfucking games combined? This is how the world ends.

Let’s hope they don’t team up with Black Mesa too or we’ll have to add high-end-development-time to the combination :stuck_out_tongue:

I was just fucking around with it, but once you’re on the purple page, double-click on A Machine For Pigs. Then double-click on Fall 2012. How neat.

Oh my god, steampunk. Oh my god, thechineseroom. Oh my god, this is the best news ever.

I’ve always had a sort of contempt for Dear Esther; but I have to admit it may turn out to be very exciting to have them work with people who make awesome games rather than just set-pieces.

An interview about the game.

Fortunately or unfornately depending on how you look at it, it will be PC only just like the first game.

I cant wait!

HOT

shit just got real

can’t wait to shit my pants

2012 is gonna be an amazing year

Looks like it will blow our mind.

Good to hear, thanks for the link King. I love all that steampunk they put into this title.
