Aliens Vs. Predator demo

It just came out. Discuss.

Playing an Alien makes me dizzy.

omigosh! runs to own computer

I would have preferred a single-player demo tbh. :frowning:

yeah, i m disappoint. I mostly was looking forward to the three campaigns. I remember back when the avp2 demo came out and i played that constantly before release :3.

is thre an xbox demo

Yeah i’m also waiting for SP, i think natural selection 2 will be better for the whole alien vs human multiplayer thing.

Tried it just then, it’s pretty average, but when there’s all the different gametypes and big matches going on it should be fun.

edit: Just realised there aren’t any dedicated servers, so someone has to end up hosting the game, and if they leave it boots everyone. Fucking fantastic.

Apparently the final game will have dedicated servers.

Anyway, I played it three times yesterday and it’s pretty fun when it works.

I downloaded the demo, but it seems that either there’s no one else to play with, or I am having a problem with ports.

Damn you matchmaking system, it’s really not a good way to show off a demo.

BRB DOWNLOADING

It’s a multiplayer demo?!

Kick ass!

(Downloading now!)[/SIZE]

What?
God damn it.

It has a serious problem connecting people, just keep trying until you’re connected.

I don’t give a flying toss about multiplayer, why couldn’t they release a single player demo?

ok, what the shat.

Is the demo only for those who preorder or something? cause when I try to load it, it just opens the update news to AVP3.:mono:

Possibly, or maybe it depends on what region you’re from?

oh never mind, I rageclicked it about a million times and it loaded.

new problem: Is there ANY way to start your OWN server so that you don’t have to wait 9001 years for some other idiot’s server to load just for him to disconect it?

I am not impressed with this game demo thus far.

i waited half hour earlier before it found a game and then when it finishes, closes it down, why not just start a new round save us having to wait another half hour to find another game :frowning:
