Just played offline seems pretty fun L4D style that requires teamwork. I’ll be playing with some friends later online.
Just played offline as well, beats the crap out of the new Alien Breed game (although the old one was kickass) and i loved how you could set up sentry guns and weld doors shut. Seems very much like Aliens, even the motion sensor acts similar to the movie.
I’ll definitely be playing this more tomorrow.
Just played a few maps with some friends online, it’s great! I’m already known for my epic medical skills. :3

It’s really fun once you get used to it. I only wish it had more maps. Hopefully they’ll release more soon. And free hat!

well its a free game i didn’t expect much levels but they did include modtools not?
Couple qualms.
First, almost impossible to do without 4 people. Even on Easy, there were far too many occasions where me and my friend would just get randomly swarmed and killed. Would be nice if difficulty level better curved for player numbers since I don’t always have 4 friends on and don’t always feel like dealing with random scrubs.
Second, lack of dedicated servers hurts.
Third, could be better.
That said, I’d buy this game over and over and over again since it’s free, and free games, especially quality ones, are awesome.

1 It looks like Dow 2 last stand.
2 I don’t think I have a quality card powerfull enough for it, just like dow 2.

Wow if your friends are not online the hardest part in this game is actually getting into one. Half the time I can’t get a connection and when I do manage to get through I get stuck at the loadingscreen for a full minute and then I get a message saying failed after 10 retries.

The graphics are awesome!
But there is one issue with the shadows. The player models always seem to have two of them, one static and a dynamic one. Even if there is only one light source. Both shadows also overlap each other, which looks really unrealistic. The developers should have deactivated the static shadow.

Also, the one campaign was really fun, but I think we should have had two since it’s going to take a while for mods to get started. However, especially since it’s free, you can except a plethora of campaigns in the future. (If VALVe doesn’t release another.)

I hate the part where you need to drop your weapon to put out some fire or get a rock laser and blast some rocks. EVERY fucking time some guy steals the weapon I had to drop because of that.
Play it with your friends so they know not to do that. Last night when I picked up the rock laser, one of my friends would actually throw my old gun to me somehow so I didn’t have to walk all the way back to pick it back up.
The game is pretty good actually! The only thing I have against it is OH MY GOD THERE IS A PARASITE ON ME MEDIC MEDIC MEDAAAAAAGH…

There’s no way what-so-ever to get them off? I know I had to stand in a medics healing field until it just got tired or something.
