I played it when it was a mod for UT2004, it was awesome. Anyone here tried the retail version?
I want to. The mod was incredibly fun, but so empty. No one was ever playing when I found it, which lent itself to an entirely different experience for me, as I singlehandedly leapt about between air balloons, trying to command them all at once, and escape from those freaky mushrooms on the ground. I had a lot of fun with it on my own in a multiplayer mod, so I can’t imagine how much fun it would be as a retail product with other people.
Yeah, I had only played against bots in the mod too, still though, I got hours of entertainment commandeering the enemy team’s balloons to the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack.
My internet is so bad I can’t even hope to play anything multiplayer within the next few months. Still though, looks fun, saw it on Late Night with Cry & Russ at a rented motel room.
