God damn it, the Team Fortress 2 achievement generator crashed, the bad thing is that all achievements anyone has created are gone, too.

Complete game with 100% health and 100% suit energy.
Appropriate times for achievements:
Completing each chapter
Finding any/all easter eggs (caches)
Finding a particular easter egg (microwave)
Defeating story-required bosses (gonarch, tentacles)
Completing minor but story-required tasks (starting the resonance cascade, launching the rocket, killing all assassins, getting through the tripmine maze)
Completing the game
Inappropriate times for achievements:
Kill x enemies
Complete game with a catch (using only one weapon, only running backwards, without jumping)
Kill x enemies with only x weapon

So you want achievements for stuff that is required to beat the game?
He was basically just saying that he doesnāt want typical grinding achievements & achievements that would require multiple playthroughs. I personally donāt care for achievements for basic progress, but side things like the microwave & saving scientists are nice.
I will agree that Iām not fond of grind-type achievements. Anything that could take the form ā[Verb] [nouns]ā is just some arbitrary number pulled out of the air, and I fucking-HATE magic numbers.
What separates doing it once and doing it times? It wonāt be much different the next few iterations. Iād feel better if I didnāt have to look up what things to repeat, and instead got rewarded for doing weird things on accident (the first time).
Rather than ākill 10 grunts with a crowbarā you can split it into:* Lambda Gear Solid: Crowbar a grunt to death without entering his line-of-sight
- Offer You Canāt Refuse: Kill a grunt by crowbarring his legs.
- How Are You, GI Joe?: Whack a gruntās hand.
