About Kleiner's Injury...

tinfoil hat. duh.

And a “Han shot first” T-shirt.

no offense, but these two arguments are retarded. kleiner’s alive in hl2 and in good shape. obviously he suffered only minor injury in hl. i don’t see how as frail as he is, he’s going to make it out alive after being bashed bloody.

I don’t see how they made it out alive full stop, considering Gordon had to climb through a vent, over some computer towers and down a drain in order to get out.

After Gordon leaves, a portal opens to where City 17 will be.

Would be nice if there was one of those “I want to believe” UFO posters in one of the offices

Or a similar poster, modified with Tipex.

“I don’t WANT TO BELEIVE” and then a sadface

that’d be stupid

Questionable Ethics, Have a picture of a Vortigaunt with “I already believe”

Or a poster of a headcrab saying "I’m fairly open-minded " :expressionless:

You asked for it…

You’re stupid! :’(

I always figured, what with Kleiner being an old man, that when Vance said, “I’m afraid to move him,” it was because every time Vance tried to talk to him about what happened, he had a panic attack. I mean, these scientists clearly don’t respond well to danger. points at scientist hiding in a dumpster
Basically he’s afraid to move him because he’s in a corner in the foetal position. Is my theory.

not true, im pretty sure its from black mesa, as i remember barney in HL2 said something along the lines of “you really want to keep that thing? after what it did to your friends/pals?” when complaining about lamarr near the beginning

He didn’t say “after what it did to your friends.” nor did he get the damn thing from Black Mesa. They were injured and trying to avoid getting killed, why would they try and take one of those headcrabs with them?

He probably got it from C17 when researching them, and after debeaking it he realized it wasn’t dangerous anymore and decided to keep it.

wel i could have been wrong, i just remember something like that being said. but oh well. theres too much speculation going into this already, its a headcrab, valve probably didnt even intend for it to have a backstory, just there for comedic effect

He says that in the original scene, not in the retail one.

“I don’t know how you can stand to keep that thing around… after what it did to your partners…”

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
