Just thought I’d point out that the hole in Blast Pit wasn’t made by aliens or the resonance cascade, it’s a flame trap for the rocket exhaust :hmph:

Otherwise, I like the idea of exploring the facility without the RC happening - hell, I think it’d be cool just to be able to go through all the normal levels and see what they’d look like without alien and military occupation. Probably be easier to do, mapping-wise. Eh, probably would get boring pretty quickly if you didn’t throw in some sort of “Help Dr. Blahblahblah with [insert quest/puzzle]” here and there along the way. Example: the scientist on top of the generator thing in Blast Pit could actually be looking for a pocket protector or important note or something?

EDIT: for some reason, I was thinking you guys were planning on doing it as a Goldsource mod… what the hell was I thinking :retard:

Nah, we were going to things like: you explore the facility, then every so often you get minigames to do, and if people like the mod then we may make the mini games multiplayer. The mini games would include:

tram racing
car construction and racing through the offices
rp - as in gmod rp xD
fort building out of crates using the awesomeness that is the black mesa forklifts
