3D Television

anime is shit because it’s lazy, not just because it’s simple. it being simple comes from the laziness. it’s just plain not good. it’s not aesthetically pleasing. ANYONE can do it, it requires no talent.

Feel free to come and kill me if that is what you want

When creating the movie Ponyo, Hayao Myiazaki insisted in drawing the sea and waves himself without any help, by hand. He prefers drawing over using the computer, and yet the elements (people, vehicles, etc) of his movies often make some very complex movements. And that man is fucking 69 years old. Lazy? I don’t think so.

I’m not talking about general anime, Dragon Ball, Pokemon and stuff, those are shitty. As a matter of fact, I’ve not seen any anime that look like art other than Myizaki’s movies. Not that I’ve seen many of them, though, so maybe I’m not even talking about anime at all.

Well I made this thread because we had ordered a Panasonic 3D VT25 so I could see what people think about 3D. I’ll tell you how it is when it’s delivered, Saturday I think I’ll be getting it. Mainly excited for games in it.

yeah thats wrong

Oh hey guys. What’s going on in this thread :3 ?

Edit:

That is the main thing that helps it’s creators to f**k audiences minds…

Let me know how you connected everything together. I was always curious if you’ll be using Nvidia’s or Panasonic’s glasses and how do you synchronize them together…

Oh not this shit again

  1. stop mentioning anime, you only entice flaming

  2. Stop bashing anime without understanding it

  3. We all live together happily

already made a carbon copy, man

EDIT: DOUBLE POST, MUTHAFUCKAS!!!

I don’t know what that means.

Tell that to… humanity.

Did they also think Avatar was one of the best movies ever made?

Inception wasn’t that good tbh. a solid 7 out of 10. [COLOR=‘Black’](imo obviously)

And neither was Avatar.

I think we’re getting closer to the point.

ITT: “I don’t like a movie, therefore, it wasn’t good.”

avatar wasn’t good because it was pocahontas in space + awesome special effects.

inception was a very good idea but poorly executed: shitty pacing and almost no character development.

this is of course a matter of opinion, but when we are discussing movies , opinion it’s all we’ve got.

EDIT: also, check the black text in my previous post…

I can appreciate the merits of both Avatar and Inception.

You might think that Avatar is simply space Pocahontas (or space Ferngully or space Dances with Wolves) with special effects, but I really enjoyed it regardless. Just because it doesn’t have an original story doesn’t mean that it’s not good.

Hell, Black Mesa is going to be the same game as a game from over a decade ago but with updated “special effects”, and we’re all antsy for it.

I hated the movie “The Watchmen” to the point of loathing and even walked out of it in the theaters (which I’ve never done in the past) but, it’s a “good movie that I didn’t like”. I didn’t really enjoy Inception, though, even though Ellen Page was hawt.

Meanwhile, you have a movie like “Howard the Duck” which was a horrible movie that was fun and enjoyable.

To me, “good/bad movie” is not the same thing as “liked/disliked the movie”.

wait ellen page was in inception?

yeah, she was wearing a leonardo di caprio costume.

Avatar = Pocahontas in space…

Yeah, and all the movies about bank jobs/betrayal/mobs and shit are exactly the same. Actually every movie has something that was used in the past hence they are all exactly the same and therefore they suck.

It’s not only what you’re trying to show, it’s also how you show it…

Just my opinion though

Tried to watch Sorcerer’s Apprentice, after 5 minutes or so decided to watch Pulp Fiction instead.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
